Its hard to play with a table full of donks. But, patience is a must. Do not lower yourself to their standards and call all-in with a mediocre hand or you will be like them and signing up for another tournament because you are now out of the one you were playing !!!! PICK YOUR HAND WISELY !!! Just a tip from me to these new players... Good Luck At The Tables... I Hope This Helps !!!

just move up to the High Stakes. Play a little against all those Iveys and durrrs out there. Trust me you will play against much better players than I dont think it will pay out for you but... so choose who you really wanna play with!

Yeah! We're sort of aware of this, but nice advice! So the #3 fan. Loved the guy and miss him a lot. Been to many races and I'm for #24. First 5 races I ever seen Dale won: Martinsville, Michigan, Atalanta, 2nd Brickyard and Atlanta again. Probably should post a little more often if you've been a member since Sept 2010. Good Luck!

Oh yeh "do not lower yourself to their standards" this is key.. I see so many semi-decent players exit themselves from tournaments doing this - effective flipping/racing against the donks just because they know the donks range is wide.. Not at all clever..
However - the even worse mistake is bluffing a donk - If I had a $1 for every time I see someone bust out of a tournament bluffing a known donk and then abusing them in the chat "How the F could you call that!" etc.. They sit there watching this donk calling absolute s**t, fishing for flushes, etc.. Then still try and bluff them.. so dumb.. Don't bluff donks and don't bluff stations.
Some people never realise poker is about adapting your play as much as having a "great style". If you can't change up your game - you're fkd.

A very true word. The problem is to think of it when you are in the game. Sometimes it is very difficult to keep calm and to have enough patience to wait, wait, wait until the right situation comes up. But I will work on this...

Was just thinking that Things could no go your way even if you wait, specially if you play turbo tourneys, like I did the other night. Waited and waited for a good hand to play it against the table donks, and when it finally arrived (QQ) they ran into KK . And got busted. Maybe I`m the donk

Hey! Haven't been on here in a while been staying away from poker lol... Just one thing i never got was "+EV" what does that mean i dont feel like googling it because i will get a bunch of garbage . Ty to anyone who replies.
