Because I am growing to hate that site day by day, more and more...
I need 1.000 points to get a free copy of Holdem Manager. Went on there late last year, got halfway and was just too disgusted to go on. Left it for 2 months, and now I´m trying to get those points again since yesterday.
Man.... People are unfriendly, pretend like they´re BIG Poker players. The blinds are ridiculously slow and low, an SnG can take up to 2 1/2 hours!! A lot of REALLY bad players, so making cash should be easy. And it was at the beginning.
Went from depositing $25 and playing micros to $140 in 2/3 days, but then.... Went up to $200, then got fed up and back down to $100, then up and down, just throwing games away out of complete boredom due to the lenght of the SnG´s and Tourneys, or disgust at either the bad play or the weird attitude of many of the players. It really seems like a world apart over there...
Is it me, or does anyone else have something with that site?

Never played there Jack, sounds like I don't want too either....Honestly I am really really biased, I LOVE FullTilt, never had any problems with their site, I love the structure, and have been playing there for a couple of years now. I don't even like switching it up to Pokerstars that much,though I have been trying to do that more. I am interested in trying some other sites that accept US players, it's hard to find sites that support the Mac though. thanks for another informative post Jack! GL @ the tables Mobsters!

Yep, FT is my favourite as well. But for this promo I had to go through Everest, so there you go. I will have "hard-earned" HM.... still 350 points to go. I´m even playing cash just now, something I NEVER do, just to see if I can clear faster.

I have solution for you! play HU games there! People always bet size of pot and they are just BAD! That should be fast and you will accumulate lot of points that way...

I think this way it should be faster for you: on everest there is dealt rakeback method so just multitable it and play tight so you will earn point from other pots

Well i actually started playing on everest and loved it in the beginning. Made a descent stack but when i learned about other sites i switched and never went back Compared to other site's... yes i can understand your frustration. Full Tilt is absolutely my favourite too, FT rules!

I played on Everest a while back, but now not more because other sites are much more fun to play than on Everest, but i think will play once in a half year.

I clear that 50 $ bonus they send out every now and then, and I don't think it is such a bad site. (I play mostly NL25 full ring.)
The software isn't that pretty, and there's something strange with the potbet, which makes it larger than the pot. And yes, people tend to be unfriendly.
But on the plusside: there are a lot of really bad players. And since I'm not that good myself, these people must be true retards...

That´s it also. Not only are the blind levels "tiny", slow as well, after an hour it´s just 40/80..really! An hour! But people use their whole clock all the time, as if they had a $1.000 bet to call everytime and were hesitating............aaarrrrgggggg!!!!

Lol, seems to be the perfect poker site to me, because I am a little bit slow by myself But to be serious: If there are so many bad players, maybe iti is really an alternative for beginners like me ? My problem with Party poker is, that they don´t have attractive micro SnG for me to get more experienced in SnG. In addition the charge 20% Rake on $1 and $3 SnG

The thing with the time is true and irritating some times.The software isnt one of the greatest out there but not the worst too. On the plus side i think its easy to clear any kind of bonus

Maybe you should look into their cashgames if you make points too slowly... I used to be a regular at $1/$2 limit holdem,which is really easily beatable there and made about 50 points per table per hour.

i made an account there about 2 years ago but lasted only couple a days, didnt like their software. didnt play much there so dnt knw much about the games and people, hope u get ur points soon
