Hi
I am new to poker and as such I have been told that one way to learn my own style is to watch, read and pick up everything about the game I can. I have been reading some of your posts and find them very interesting. There are a couple of things I would like to ask:-
1. Can anyone recommend any good books I can read to improve my knowledge?
2. Wouild any of you mobsters like to form a club/ society to study and try out different, "styles or approaches", and feed back. I think it would be interesting and useful to us all. As they say 2 or more heads are better than one. Obviously this would take some planning and bankroll, but I am willing to see and discuss this.
Anyone interested please let me know.
I don't know if I can do this but below is my contact e-mail.
Thanks

Howard Lederer has many poker books. So does almost every "good" professional out there. But some of the names that stand out are Negraneau, Lederer, Hanson. You can do searches on utube, and watch videos about poker. I really suggest you do that, fastest way to get insight. Also read some of the "past posts" about strategy and such. There are lots of old threads on every aspect of poker. As always I have to invite you to a member only tournament. If you have any BR on FTP, check out the blog on the "Mobster Mania". To find it fast just click on my name, it is at the bottom of my profile under posts I've writen. Good luck with your searches and poker improvement.

A little extra advice is right here in the forum. There are lots of good threads discussing a lot of various poker related items. Also, in "Poker Strategies" here in the site. Search through and you'll see a lot of good info. Good Luck in your research and on the tables!
