Today I am disappointed because of what follows. Let me ask you a question and whine a little bit.
It's a turbo MTT 700€ GTD buyin €6 25 peoples left 18 paid. I'm in BB dealt K J when is my turn to act there are already three players allin: I'm tempted to call with my drawing hand (I know I am back for sure preflop) because a quadruple up in this moment would put me in first positions and I am not interested to only get ITM. I also considered that likely more than one of them had an Ace so they are subtracting odds each other and I guess for a small/medium PP dealt to one of the three. I am tempted to gamble but after some thinking I told myself "no, let's play proper poker", So I folded.
The following hand (I am SB) everyone fold to me, I am dealt AKo and I push allin and BB instacall and show me AJo. I told myself "well, you know, poker gods reward you with good cards because of your previous right decision" ...

Wrong move was the winning one and right move was the loosing one.
I think anyone agree to my push with AK in bvb.
But what about the fold with K J ? I mean: I want to go for big prizes, I don't care only to get ITM. Should I make the wrong move? In your opinion ss it completely wrong or not?
PS: ... and what the f**k....AK vs AJ was about 75% vs 25%
sometimes need to risk nearly to bubble to got a good ft stack. i think quadriple possibility was enough to call,but fold is good too.. now we know Ah came..but if dont came.. Your Ak push was absolutly correct. U had bad luck thats all.. i think u did it well.KJ situation is complex.. i think put that hand to an icm calculator,or hand analiser. i think second nut draw and 2high card is good to call.but im not sure about that...im sure about that risking in nearly to itm always needed if u havent got a brutal stack.. top 18 places paid.. ok u made itm and you are 18/16 with your stack..and? nearly to the bubble lot of player start tight play. If u are not interested 10-18 place u can steal a lot with decent hand.. FT or nothing!!

u was just had bad luck,,,just like mine ryt now,i just finished as 6placer with AJ while other player had A7,,and the river was 7,,so he won ... then,my AJ was nothing,grrrrrrr

agree ^^ calling the KJ is really nothing more than gambling and hoping for the best, chances are your dominated all over the place, your really calling to hit a flush or str8. i know what you mean going for the win but sometimes you have to fold to win, i see people alot make stupid calls for there tourney life and say i was getting the odds to call but that dont really mean it makes sense to go in way behind and almost no chance to win the hand just because your getting the odds. im often tempted by things like this if a big bundle of chips in the middle to call with suited connectors but if its for your tourney life its not a good move, if you have tons more chips than the people going all in well you can make a case for it but not if its going to cripple you or knock you out the tourney people will prob disagree with me but i think you did the right thing. if you did call you would be like wtf did i call that for what a fucking idiot move
