Was up early this morning and decided to do a session before having to wake up everyone else at home and get the day going. Had three 50NL and three 100NL tables open, up about $80 after one hour when things started to go wrong. First AK was trounced when dummy called 5xbb with K8o, K lands on flop and 8 on the river to snatch a decent pot. Then totally misplayed QQ on the button where I raised 5xbb, SB reraises to 13bb and I called. Flop came just junk cards and because I had him on AA or KK I checked and called his large bet, K came on the turn, checked and then stupidly called his allin to see that he had AK. Shoulda known better, my poker sense was warning me about the turn card and I ignored it. By then I was down a full buy in and feeling tilt kick in when I raised 5d6d (sooooooted connectors) 4bb in middle position to have the BB reraise 13bb. Called and landed a flush draw, called down to the river and knew that if I missed I had to close up as this was severe tiltiness, but flush! I had been hoping to trounce that guy because of his name!
Still a little tilted when a player who has been tweaking my cookies lately raised 8bb on the button, me with 66 on BB. Called and landed open straight. Checked and button bet and I knew it was monsters. Turn brought a 2, giving me straight and I was pretty sure the guy had AA and had also made straight so I shoved and he called. BABAM!
Two hands later, player who totally sucked out on the river against me yesterday with AQ vs my KK, raises 7bb so I call with double fishhook and flop boat! Called all the way down to the river. BABAM! Payback!

Obvously I was tilted on the first table and got very lucky (against "kingsurprise", he got the surprsise!), second table was not my finest hour either, looking more for a set than a straight obv., third table was more reasonable, JJ no that bad. I get my monsters cracked too, lucky for me in tilting I actually hit....

this was for sure fun for you but when you will get beaten 3 times in a row with your aces in such way ( as 5 6 suited and 6 6 ) remember than this hands . good thing you told us that you was on tilt a bit so this makes something good on the other hand is what you have in your account what counts at the end of the ride and not what kind of hands you won or lost with .

Like I said, I knew I was tilting and was going to shut down if I did not river the flush to start my comeback. Otherwise it was time to do something else and calm down. Knowing you are tiltiing and to start pulling back is very important, otherwise everything goes and it is time to start grinding the micros again....

Nice Mahdrof, yestyerday I played against this guy in SnG ($1.+10) I had suited connectors 9,10h. He was slow playing AA and if he'd aa made a big bet preflop i would of folded. Anyway he flop 7,8,k and he makes a min raise so I called. turn is river and now he raises considerably and of course I reraise. He's allin so I call knowing he could only have as good, not better then me. After I beat him he went down to 400+ chips and was calling me names until eventually he was gone. AA isn't always the best and people act like they shouldn't ever be beat with them. Should of went preflop. Liked your story! Good Luck at the tables!

Good job, teaching noobs everywhere to fear the Aces and to spam forums everywhere about how there opponents must be haxors or something.
I had the great joy of beating down AA this morning to, with a flush. The other fool I guess figured he might as well slow play forever, "nothing beats AA."

What's funny about that pic as is how much different it seems when you compare the cropped square to the original side by side. The square one really brings out the expression on the face (as I would expect framing should do).

Naaaah, that's Stu Graham, my avatar on PartyPoker. Him and PLG are my two favourite skateboarders, but Stu's face show's the effects of bashing into things! I have had people on PP ask me if I am a prisoner or a child molester based on that picture!
