That was crazy what happened to Casey. Last week was insane! I know a lot of people that thought Pia would win. I definately thought she was the best girl singer. I have alot of favorites, an I just can't choose between my top 3. I like James Durbin, Casey, and Paul(don't know why you would think he's the worst singer, Stephano is the least talented.) Well at least I'm not the only poker player paying attention!

I personally don't think he is the worst but the "group" made him the ONE! Many factors decide who the worst pick is.
Horrible fashion, mumbling while singing, ultra blinding white teeth, always asking the audience "How yall doing?" at the start, and that cheesing "C'mon y'all (trying to get the audience amped........), singing Folsom Prison Blues like it was happy fun time! Starting the Hoedown the other night!
These are all reasons he was picked, but there are the 3 other "horsemen" (back-ups in case Paul goes home) that haven't gone home yet EITHER !! while all the girls (who if yall recall, they were saying it was the year of the girls earlier on in the season......... hahahahah)
Pia was the best singer and MARKETABLE too!
But she went home and everyone was shocked Duh! It happens every year! Remember Chris Daughtry?

I disagree with you and the anyone else who thought she was the best singer. She was not. I didn't vote for her. I would never vote for her. She's marketable? Why? Because she's hot? I'm sorry but I don't want to see another ballad singer. If I did I would see a real one, Like Celine Dion. Not Pia.

I just meant from a record label standpoint Pia would make them money (ya ....marketable=HOT)
I thought she was boring.
My faves are Casey (grrrrrrr)
and (was) Niama Adepo (reggae chick)
I shoulda said Pia had the best vocal control of all the girls. The really pretty girls always get voted off because it is primarily housewives and teen girls who vote the most!

You make a good point. I know quite a few of those houswives like Scotty(yuck!) My favorite is prolly James Durbin, followed closely by Casey(I heard a news reporter interviewing pia ask if she thought the judges wasted there save on "fozzy bear" I wanted to punch him in the face! She of course said no Casey deserved it), but Paul rounds out my top 3(maybe why I got a little defensive,but I have lost a lot of faith in him, that Johnny Cash was horrid!) I really liked Naima, I wanted to see some more of that Reggea funk... I think that's what the music industry needs right now, you haven't seen a great reggea style performer since Sublime....Pia bored me to death, along with Tia the young ballad singer, Stephano I like as a person, but he also bores me, Jacob is a little too over the top for me, I used to not like Haley, but her Janis was out of this world, I'm really over scotty and his cheesey microphone holding skills, and I'm just not sure where I stand on the other 15 yr old, she's cute and all, but idk about the next american idol. So anyway I guess I would be really surprised if James Durbin went home. Be watching this week.
