Wish I could do screen shot, but here's my hand. I'm dealt AA on BB (160), pre flop player min raises, so of course I just call. Flop is 10,A,A that's right Quad A's, but player bets 320 before turn, so I just call letting him lead this thing. turn is a 2 and he bets 640 so I call. River is a 9 and he's allin. I call and take all chips. Well, he's left with 138 chips and starts typing in Donk, iidot, etc. Yes, maybe I should have went all in from start, but he kept tryinmg to bluff his way through the hand. Does that make me a Donk player because he was bluffing from the get go. Plus Quad A's is my first!

Don't know the dynamics of the table, but AA is worth a reraise preflop. If he wants to bluff away his stack after the flop, there is no need to stop him.

lol. of course Really? You don't consider a raise here? You don't say what position he was in but calling a min-raise with AA is asking for trouble. You really shouldn't slow play preflop.
Checking the flop is fine since you have the nuts. I'm guessing the absolute nuts unless a straight flush is on. He was angry cos you trapped him and got max value from him but of course if you bet on any street he would have folded. So therefore from the flop onwards you played it right. Although I can understand why he might be pissed off if you checked to him in first position on every stage, as it was hard for him to put you on quads. You must have been very confident he would go all-in on the river to justify your play.

lol .... this was perfectly played by you ... guess he was just pissed of and wanted to show you that in chat , that's one of the reasons why my chatbox is closed most of the times . however that i completely agree with awood that it is very dangerous to limp with AA preflop and that it is asking for problems most of the times not raising or making a reraise .

Hahahahahaha, donkey NO WAY. He's the donkey for trying to donk the hand. Anytime you can flop quads, and someone bets into them, take their chips. Well played there Green. Excellent hand...

OK lets rub the grain...YES!, why? because you have to ask, menaing you did not know how to play the hand, it looks like a well pulled of stunt, but it was luck that netted you that win, If you said he was a loose monky fish and expected him to pay you off on any flop and didnt want to give away your hand strength etc then well done you set a trap, but you didnt, he went to bluff and you got lucky...also he is a donk.

Thanks for replies, I kinda of felt like I was donking him a little, but the guy kept re-raising every hand. I folded at least 5 times to this same guy. He would go Allin or do a 3X raise and when he raised prior to flop I couldn't resist. I kept my eyes open for the flush since the straight was impossible. Don't take any reply no way, but constructively. Sorry I left out a lot of details in the initial thread, but I lost anyway so I got mine, but not to him. Good Luck to All!

i think you did fine tbh, i know what the others are saying with the reraise pre but all the same you dont want to lose your customer if hes really aggro and prob has nothing and if you have folded to him a load of times its clear you have a big hand if you reraise him but if you never hit such a monster on the flop i would reraise him on the flop but your cool sailing btw i love they guys that talk crap like that should just put in a lol sends them off there rockers

U did good, Green. Allthough its better to reraise most of the times with AA, for reasons allready named by mobsters, sometimes when u have only 1 oponent, taking a chance in slowplaying to trap him is good poker. And u got paid Especially if u have a good read on him.

Thanks flip and jazzy, I am a beginner and don't expect I'm making the best decisions in most cases. I haven't done real bad today outside of the freeroll playing. I've finished 3rd and 5th in the only two $1+.10 (45 player) SnG's played today. The freerolls kill me. There so unpredictable and it's hard to get a read on how someone is playing due to moving around so much. Good Luck to All and again thanks!

Hey Ster58 thanks! Yeah started playing the SnG's and have finished 3rd twice and 5th once. Plus in the past couple weeks finished good in some freerolls, not this week though. Anyway the BR is climbing a bit. Take care and no hard feelings on previous threads. Its over and Good Luck at the tables!

The hand was well played considering the history of this character. Raising every hand and getting called while holding NO A´s on an AA board is pretty stupid, to say the least.
Some idiots get really pissed off and start calling you lots of stuff, including "donk", which I always find very ironic. Never bother replying, he´s probably losing a lot of money, no need to rub it in, just take it!

Thanks Island, appreciate the reply! And, I'm not that way! I didn'tt say a word back to the individual. Gradually trying to work on regaining a little confidence in the micro ($1+.10/45 player) SnG's. Good Luck to you and we'll see you in Mobster Mania tomorrow. Going to pay attention closely to my mentors!

This is a common occurence once you start to become a profitable player, most of the non profitable one's aren't very good sports!
