Getting Staked by........a pokersite?  0
Who doesen't want to get staked? Some of us are sometimes(hoodi).
A couple of days ago i received this e-mail:

Hi,

From your previous game play at www.cardclubgames.com we have seen that you are a dedicated small stakes poker player. We would therefore like to offer you the opportunity to become part of our staking program that will remain in place until 2011-09-30.

You will be subject to our rules for playing at certain levels and being able to withdraw, but all winnings that you will generate will be entirely yours. Our main purpose for staking players at the moment is to fill up the pools, but player activity will increase considerably over the next few weeks as major partners are joining our network. As many affiliates will offer players some free money for signing up you can be sure there will be plenty of action in the smaller games.

In order to maximize your winnings we recommend you to sign-up for the 30% rakeback on offer from this link . The rakeback is paid out on a weekly basis after it has been activated.

Rules for playing

Reply to this email and tell us that you would like to be part of the staking program. Make sure that all details in your account is 100% up-to-date.

We will bankroll you with €20 to start with and you can start playing at the lowest limit (€0,02/€0,04). If you go broke you can send us an email and request more funds. We will consider staking you with another €20 after reviewing your hand histories, if your game looks solid. The same procedure is followed if you go broke once more. If you go broke again at this level after losing €60 we will not stake you anymore.

If you manage to run the bankroll to a net profit of €30 or more you are allowed to play games up to €0,05/€0,10, when your account shows a net profit of €100 or more you are allowed to play games up to €0,10/€0,20 and when your account shows a net profit of €250 or more you are allowed to play games up to €0,25/€0,50.

When your bankroll falls back under a level you must go back to the lower stakes but you are then allowed to play games on the limit nearest under the highest limit you reached for the entire remaining bankroll, even if we recommend that you go down more in level if you are on a bad run.

You can play at any time and you can play several pools at the same time as long as any of the games are not higher than your highest allowed limit.

If you have reached a net profit of €100 at some stage but go broke you can email us and get additional staking for €40 at the time up to three times after review of your hand histories. Rules for the maximum limits will then be set up individually.

Rules for withdrawals

In order to keep our players motivated we will allow withdrawals according to the following rules. When your account shows a net profit of €100 or more you are allowed to withdraw €25, when your account shows a net profit of €250 or more you are allowed to withdraw another €50, when your account shows a net profit of €500 or more you are allowed to withdraw another €125 when your account shows a net profit of €1,000 or more you are allowed to withdraw another €250.

If you show a net profit of more than €1,000 you are free to withdraw any winnings above that at any time but with a maximum of two withdrawals per calendar month. Individual restrictions regarding game limits can be discussed.

Anytime a withdrawal is made any staking money added to the account will be paid back first. If the account goes broke new staking money can be added to the account, please email us your request for a re-load.

Now tell me isen't that nice?
I like rush poker and i got the 5 euro NDB from BRM. The first days there was little traffic,
but i managed to turn my 5 into 20 euro. After their opening there was more traffic and i
turned my 20 euro into 80, later on into a point were my bankroll went up and down
between 150 and 200 euro. I decide to cash out at 150 euro and diden't play there
anymore, because of the low traffic and way to big tables.(difficult to multitable).
Beside that i liked the site and the payout went smoothly. But i never even deposited!
Still they send me this e-mail, can u believe that?

Has anyone else also received an e-mail like this?
Please let me know Big Smile Cool

That's crazy! I've never seen a letter like that, but of course you have to be like a pro to be staked at full tilt, as a matter of fact I'm not even sure if they do stake anybody...Be interested to find out if they did tho. It does sound like a good deal though. I'll stay tuned to see the outcome!

I would strongly advise bankroll management! Remember you not only have to beat the player's, but the rake that they are paying you with too! Who knows when this promotion will end ya dig? Just what I would do I think. Cool

lol staking you 20 quid ???

it's basically just a NDB right ??!!

Read further: if i loose my stack, they will stake me again, and again
after that. + the rakeback! And if i reach 100 euro and loose: they'll
stake me with 40 euro, loose that another 40, and again after that.
That's way more than a NDB: 3 times chance with 20 + 3 times chance with
40. And that's in Euro, that's more than $ .
Super bonus i would say Smile Cool

Man that's pretty awesome, they must've been impressed with your skills. Would it be worth it for you though? Why not just keep playing your own stake and keep everything even under $1000. You're obviously a profitable player.

I suppose the bankrupting protection is nice I picture you being far more profitable elsewhere. I imagine you have a nice bankroll given all the tournaments you're in this sunday.

Had an offer with a site i cant mention on here.
Staking was max $500 a day to play with, 50% of the winnings were mine, no rakeback, no bonus.
So i said, ''no thank you'' Agree

even though the withdrawl requirements are really bad it is an offer you must accept when you get just because you play without having ANY risk.
So that might be a great chance for you to present yourself and maybe get even new and better offers by them.
Nice one, good luck.

Read carefully...
They will review your hand histories and decide what to do.
No promises here if you lose the roll.
So basically what Jess is saying seems right to me.

It´s like an NDB, with "perks" if you do well.
Comes out well for the site and for you.
But they can cut you whenever they like.
The drawback is the withdrawals, which are pretty strict.
The + side is the Rakeback.

Pretty much evens out IMO.
