Hey Mobsters! I have 4 of these tickets to enter the weekly $1000 NHL game on FTP. I was going to save the tickets until, maybe someday, I'd be good enough to compete. The reason I question entry is there's generally 20,000+ players. Has anyone here ever played in this and is it basically like playing a Freeroll?
I played once..just once.it was a major donk fest with way too many players for a $1000 prize pool, but then again, can't complain since it is a free roll! I prefer the Pokerstars weekend freerolls..

Thanks Yumi, I know you win these tickets by coming in the top 250 of 10,000 players, but wasn't sure about entering. I guess there's no use saving them. I'll give it a try since I can play the next 4 Sundays. To bad it's gotta be such a large tourney, plus battle through the unpredictabilty of a donkfest. Good Luck to All!

Yes! I played today and lost after about 1.5 hours. Still was 10,000 players. I have 3 tickets and don't really want to use them. Wish I could give them to a better player! lol Good Luck to All!

The ticket to this event is good for 10 years. So don't feel you have to play any time soon. I have a few tickets myself, but it such a donk fest. I'd rather play in the many cash freerolls FTP offers daily than that tourney. Good luck whand you do decide to play. Best to play only the top 10 poker hands for the first couple hours.

It is taken a little more seriously. If you play tight, you can be in a very long time but you will consistently improve your chip count. As always, vary your play and you can make it up there. Because there are soo many people, you will need some luck.
