30 minutes of late registration?  0

Dont you think that it a bit much? I can 5, 10 minutes... but 30 minutes?

I sat there and watched over 1200 people register late....

Just my opinion... thats all

what happens if your 20 mins late one day...
edited to say :
i agree with you on most everything. I think the real issue is the non members...not so much late reg

You are right, its the non members that really bothers me... I guess its something we all have to get used to if BRM is going to use a password to restrict the games.

But you know what, I still appreciate you guys putting on the FR's and I am not complaining about that! I just wish there was a way we could stop the password thieves! Thumbs Up

I really think they should do some sort of premade BRM list and that you have to be on that list in order to play. I know theres a way to do it. I do consider the issue to be a serious matter though that does need to be addressed

well of course everyone who is in the tournament doesnt really like the idea. Me either. But for Bankrollmob, that´s just what you need to keep in mind it is the best promo if more people can participate in it.

There are like 5 or 6 FR's per day everyday and by now all members know the times as do the non members. Now if you register and you can't get your a@@ in the seat on time that's your problem. Also everyone knows there are p/w thieves and this gives them an extra half hour to get the p/w if they don't get it right away. You stop the late registrations and like D44e said you won't see 1200 or more players joining and I guarantee these are most of the non members. Some poker sites use to use the 5 miniute rule meaning you had 5 minuites to be in your seat or you were disqualified and this cut down on sit outs and we could do the same here. Five miniutes to be in your seat and no late registrations. Smile

In my own opinion *most* of the late registrations are from people that aren't even members in this forum. I am not saying that all of them are, but for the most part everyone here knows what time the tourney starts and there really shouldn't be too many late registrations.

I know its always easier said than done... but I think the best way to stop all this would be to have a active members list that gets sent to FTP once a week, and if you are on the list you can sign up. I know it can be done, there is another site that I belong to that does it.

Also... I am OK with late registration. I just think that 30 minutes is a bit much. Whats the point of making everyone wait until 15 minutes before the start of the game to get the password when you give TWICE as much time AFTER the start of the game to register. I can see 5 minutes of late registration

So the real question is what can we do to actually get the issue addressed. Who do we talk to. Most other forums do exactly what your talking about. Or getting the password is just so hard it's not worth giving away.

How do you add new members if you put a list of pre-qualified out???The freerolls are like membership drives and lots of people join the Mob for the freerolls and the rolls. Now the password leaking is another story,in 30 min the password is sent to numerous sites for the purpose of letting people know what it is.Its not something you can stop. Sad

I should just be late registration until lvl 2 and that's it in my opinion...

Or what about a lower limit of people?

If you stop the late registration then they wouldn't have 30 miniutes to send the password to different forums and the idiots that have sites like this on FB that post BRM p/w's. Yes the FR's promote our site and the purpose is for them to join the forum not to try and steal our p/w's. Wtf how long does it take to sign up and join and do things the right way. Question

This is getting out of hand now I watched the noon FR and there were less then 2,000 entries at the start and now it's 12:20 and there are 2770 entries and still climbing. What does it take to STOP THIS LATE REGISTRATION your inviting p/w thieves or others that just don't register on time. It's 12:30 now and there are 3244 entries in the FR now. So in that half hour over 1200 more entered the FR. I just wanted to watch off and on while I was doing other things how many more entries come in the late registration and that was more then I expected. Question

I personally don't see late registration to be a problem. Anyone who registers late saw less hands and is therefore at a disadvantage. Yes I suppose they can try to come in with 2500 chips or whatever after some people have gone out. But 30min. into a tourney and they'll be starting short stack, another disadvantage.

I like when people raise the prize pool and give them selves bad odds.

How does it raise the prize pool in a FreeRoll?

IMO these freerolls seam a bit of a joke, I dont play them so not too bothersd, but would like to see the money go to bankrollmob players, for me the simple answer is cut the password and have linked acounts only playing in them, after all tey are the ones making the money for bankrollmob.
