Few things wrong here, however lets skip that and think about the current situation. Looks like a value bet to me, would need some player info to get a true annalsis of the situation. However, im sure most will say fold, some will say its a bluff shove, but your not getting bad odds, so you can call. Me, I cant do much with out good info, the info I do have is there are/were 6 people in the pot, so im not even thinking of calling his turn raise, OK I did, so now back to the hand, no way on gods earth is my top pair good in a 6 way hand, even my drawing hand was probably coverd...So now im here im folding, putting my tail between my leg, bottom lip over top and sulk about how bad my game is.

I would call he could have a higher queen but most likely hes on a busted flush draw or a complete bluff. His story doesn't really add up tbh if he had 8 9 surely he would check to you and make a re raise seeing as you re raised on the flop giving the impression you had a queen so he woudn't really be worried about the flush draw too much. The only other thing he could have is 4 of a kind 7's if he limped with pocket 7s. If he had pocket js or q's he would have re raised pre flop. I would make the call for sure here looks like a bluff to me and even if i'm wrong by making the call your gettin valuable information on the player here.
