I chose football, but it's NFL football, not soccer. I truely love NASCAR racing and have traveled all over the U.S. to watch races. Everywhere from Las Vegas, Indianapolis, Daytona, Atlanta, Bristol, Martinsville, Richmond, Michigan and a few others. Also, been to several football games to see Inianapolis Colts, Philadelphia Eagles, New England Patriots, Oakland Raiders, Chicago Bears, Cincinnatti Bengals, Tennesee Titans and others. So that's a little of my sports world. I now love to play poker. Good Luck to All!

WOW Green I wish i went to just one NASCAR race must been fun I would want to go to a super speedway, But as a Season Ticket Holder for the RAIDERS football has always been my #1 sport went to my first game in 1976 the first year we won the super bowl

For sure the best sport all over the world is football ehm resp. for US guys out here Soccer Played it by myself for over 30 years now (as goalie) And for sure the german soccer team is the best in the world

You definately missed my favorite sport(other than poker,both are#1 for me), known as a thinking man's game. The game of baseball. I believe baseball has alot in common with poker, both being games of chance and strategy.Baseball being a deul between the pitcher and batter, poker tournaments essentially boil down to a deul between two opponents.... I'm not surprised it was looked over, baseball tends to be largey popular only in the states,canada, and japan. Of course I am an american through and through, because my next favorite sport would have to be American football. Third would be hockey.

For me it´s Basketball. Anyway it used to be. But not just any Basketball, NBA specifically. I used to play at least 8 hours a day when I was young, school team in singapore etc. Watched the major NBA games, knew all the players and their stats etc.
Because i moved to Belgium and you couldn´t see it there back then, I kind of lost track of it all, and basically the only thing I really still kinda like is Formula 1, although since Senna died, it´s a whole different thing altogether as well, and not a sexciting as it used to be.
Not a football fan, except during the World Cup, which I love, so most of the Time I´m left out in the cold with sports.

mine's got to be darts,just love the game,i play for a local team and we've won our last 4 tournaments and i picked up the man of the match award in 3 of those so must be doing something right/if only my poker game was as good lol,but still learning

football is number one for me after that was basketball poker and biliard ...... i love also watch many sports event on the tv for example strongest man off the world or biathlon also snooker and many many over sports i love sports events and watch them more then films good luck and have fun

Well i love almost all sports, to watch and to play myself. I don't really consider poker a sport . As my favourite list would be way too long, The top is: Soccer(German team is defintly not the best of the world, Migo ), than basketbal, athletics, chess, martial arts, pool billiards and snooker, biking, golf, swimming etc, etc. There is something in almost every sport, but why do you all qualify poker as a sport?? What are the qualifications for it being a sport???

Basketball is one of the best sports all time. It´s fair but hard not like soccer where a player go down and crying like a child to get a freekick. In basketball player fighting when a player fall he stand up to win in soccer they fall to win to many primadonnas in soccer.

Migo, its not always the best team that wins the world cup I f you know soccer you know that there were periods in soccerhistory that Holland had the best team, but failed to win the world cup But offcourse Germany's results are way better and i do like watching the bundesliga

Raider are my team! Born in Orange county and my first agme was in Oakland! My dad took me when I was about 10 years old. I believe in 1974, but I remember Oakland beat the Vikings in the 76 Superbowl your talking about. Must be nice to have the season tickets though! I'm envious of you. Interesting thread. First of all is clear that our US mobsters like american football and basketball. On the other hand in Europe the most popular sport is by far the football(soccer). I know many consider that poker it's not a sport but i personal consider it to be a sport. That being said my favourite sport is football, especially i like the watch all the games from the World Cup. On second place is of course poker, both No Limit Texas Holdem and Pot Limit Omaha. On third is basketball, i also like to watch but most of all to play.
