enjoyed playing poker but like many I think it's rigged or played by too many donks....for eg: last hand....on big blind...dealt a-8 ..comes to me I raise - small blind calls....flop comes 8-7-7...I shove ...having 2 pairs and top kicker...he calls...I expect something ,,he shows 2-2....nothing on the turn....and you know what happened on the river UGH!!!
playing $20 S&G....down to 3 - top two places pay....have A_Q in big blind...2 limpers....I shove...I'm called.....I think oh no.....he turns over 3-8 off suit...I can hardly believe it....flop comes 6-9-3...u know the rest of the story.....UGH!!!
don't mind getting beat...if i play badly....or am called on a decent hand but 3-8 off....UGH!!!!!
finally - go into a 30 person s&G....$20 buy in....first hand......get AA....I raise....all fold exxept one who re raises about 1/2 of our chips.....II shove in...he calls....turns over 10-J suited...
Flop comes 8 2 7......turn Q ,,,river u guessed it 9......UGH!!!!!

Nah, nothing you did, but I don't think there's any riigging going on. It just seems to be l;ike that at times. And, I can't stand to think some crazy stuff myself sometimes when my AK gets beat by 2,7 or something crazy like that. My problem is, I can't believe some players call on some of bullpoop that they call on and hit. I couldn't do that to save my rear, but then again, I wouldn't even call 8, 3 or 6,4 generally. Maybe if I'm suited and the BB/SB are still low. Keep playing wise and you'll finish on top. Good Luck in The Future!

unfortunatly for you and the rest of us, we have no control on what others play only on what we play. It happens a lot more lately people calling rediculous odds to beat ya....but thats poker. You either love it ,or hate it

Call it conspiracy or what you want, but just keep an eye on it and remember what different hands do such as flop 2 pair, flop top pair, 4 to straight or flush. The cards change but the hand play remains the same. I think you said you pushed pre on 1, no I looked and it was 2. In my experiences, the mistake was to shove pre. It is like when someone makes the exact bet to get their hand opponent all in, the deal doesn't like it or something because the at risk person wins by a wide margin in that situation. I have been called crazy about this but have watched and learned from what happens. Would you rather fold a monster and think to yourself, I just blew a big winning hand or push and get donked out. Remember this....1 chip and a chair means you still got a chance.

There is days when u lost everything .. It was few times for me too and we can not do anything just need to know then in long term we should beat all donkies.. So we need just to wait and make profit from them mistakes

Yep poker iis rigged, well at least today it is...I lost 4 times to quads!!, 2 times holding nut FH so there goes 2 BIs, one time with flush, but after last few hands I decided to not bet the paird board and only lost 1/3 of a BI, and the last one I get KK LP, re-raise the mid raise who snaps AI, im not folding, shows JJ...well you know the rest...so now im not playing anymore today, possably a tourn, no more cash games anyway...

Those are some nasty bad beats you mentioned before. From a strategy point of view you played all hands correctly in my opinion. Just in the first example i wouldn't have gone all in with just top pair, with a overpair yes, but not with top pair. Even so it was clear he had a small pair in hand but it was sick that he called you with 22, i would have expected it to have pocket 10 or pocket jacks. That first hand example was in a cash hame or SNG? A nasty bad beat i took was on a 6 max sng on full tilt: I had 8-3 in BB, all joined the game, flop was 3-3-5, i bet 2x pot, just one guy paid, turn was 8, i go all in, he pays, he had QQ and the river was... Sick...
