i think this would be great fun there is lots of options on this pokerstars home games and i think this would be cool to do what you people think? would be good to have alot of people do this, we could do a low buy in one and a higher buy in and tony, doomdy, dlkiv b1gfoot, jazzyjeff and kristan if he appears and everyone else i think it would be great what you guys think

I can on stars not on FTP - I have no cash on stars account, but i can put some on. I am only in if enough people are interested, otherwise not worth my bother.
I can do up to $50 BI per match.
Edit: I suffer "timezone difficulties also". So would largely depend when the matches are played also.
If you get more than 20 definite players, then I am in 100%.

yea im the same, way out my bankroll but im up for it and yes it would be pokerstars. what im thinking is like a tournament HU style so one buy in and either winner takes all or have a payout structure either way im up for it. i think it would be great fun yea you being the other side of the world is a pain lol but i would like to get you in this too

I am not a HU player but I would like to join. But I could only join if it will be held on FTP because italian players are not allowed to play on stars.com due to laws.

@ maggat as i just said i dont think i can set up a HU tourney on fulltilt, when did they ban italians on stars im sure i played you guys before but i did notice i had not seen any italians for a while now

I can't play FTP. I'm not sure about setting up a HU tourney on PKR - you can definitely setup private games - I don't see why they wouldn't allow this format, as they do run open games in this format...

well the thing is my commitments are: Work + full time study.
now my study is 100% online which allows for a LOT of poker flexibility. Work however is 2-3 days a week and is NOT flexible.
However, 2-3 days a week isn't so bad and does allow me quite a bit of time to work in some euro timezone events.. Melbourne is GMT+10hrs - so for me GMT peak is no good, but like any thing from GMT 9am - 2pm really would be fine.
My main concern is the hassle of moving some cash from PKR to Stars.. I don't mind it, but only if we get a few people involved. If we can get 20+ then I'm in for pretty much any buyin.
------------ FYI: If it's just a single buyin MTT with 2seater tables, then I'd prefer a buyin of $20+ (pref $50) to make it worth the hassle of moving some money.. But I guess I'd settle for a smaller game, for bragging rights...

yea well what i was thinking was we could do a smaller buy in for people with smaller rolls and a bigger buy in $20+ and rope in tony dlkiv doomdy ect. and it would be a nice tourney to take down. The reason i wanted to do it on stars is because in the home games i can set up everything as in many options for starting stacks, blinds, payout structure with detail alot more than you can do with any other site as it is pretty standard anywhere else, also most people have an account on stars. I dont think you can do private HU tourneys anywhere else just 9 seaters as far as im aware. This is all just in the idea stage but i think it would be good and to take down would def have bragging rights for this but open to ideas from everyone

I think stars has to be the obvious choice anyway, just because that's where you're going to get the biggest amount of hits for people with accounts.. although, in saying that - there is no stars NDB... But hey, hopefully everyone has an account anyway..

If not many people will play a $1.10 buyin tourney, why you think you get more at Stars. Not many people here play at stars, most rely on the BRM FR to get money. FTP is the only site for most here. FTP you don't need a club to create tourneys. Anyone can. Good luck with your game. Not many people here willing to play other Mobsters.

Im IN on any room in any time as long as HU is SNG not cash game format! Any buy in to 10$ is fine with me... Very good idea! We could make that to be cup! Shootout! And we could have a tread here were we could post who match who, in what time and in which room. People could rail an cheer! Man that would be something! Maybe 2$ lowroller and 10$ highroller?

Sounds great, i would be interested to participate! Now we have to agree on a game but i'm sure all bankrollmob members would agree to choose no limit holdem. We also need to agree on a decent buy in in order to have as many participants as possible. Personally i would opt for a 5 dollars buy in, a lower buy in isn't that profitable due to high rake that need to be paid to pokerstars. So far i've played a limitat number of heads up matches on pokerstars with a 10 dollar buy in and it was good. After that i moved to cash games but i'm sure i'll play okay. Keep us posted!

don't know the exact time but stars created its "pokerstars.it" room and since then you can't create an account on .com pokerroom

I will let this run for a bit see other peoples thoughts and ideas are, fat tony admin i know your hanging about what you think up for it? dlkiv i know your still lurking around and you dodged the last tourney i tried to rope you into ive not forgot i would like to see the old school memebers and the new school members come out for this and im positive with not even one no in the vote schmoyster im sure you play higher stakes on stars do you not? you could come and prove that not all ruskies are crazy cheating donks jk
