Ok so I just got my NDB at Bodog Poker. I have been checking out the site completely, just want to make sure of what they have to offer. Sure doesn't look like much. Under "regular" there is only 5 in the list, wow for only 5. Under the "guarantee" structure there are tons. Only problem is the cheapest Cash tournament is $3.30. There are some Main Event Sattelites for $1.10. I won't bother mentioning Freerolls, they only have a few. 1 $250 daily. So I am wondering how many Mobsters play at Bodog, and what are your thoughts on the site? They really don't have a lot to offer as far as tourneys go. I say that because of the large number at other sites. Part of the NDB is the $5K ticket, which is this sunday. I am thinking on being in it. I also see they don't keep up with the exchange rates. PS's and FTP would be paying Canadians $1.04 per $1. These guys are opposite, Instead of $10USD and $10.47CND. It's backwards $10CND and $10.47USD. Not that it matters because it's free, but our dollar is worth $1.04US. I know because I keep up with the daily listing on it, as well as the price of gold etc. So I may try ring games to start, not really sure. i like bodog only played there a little but i thought it was better than all sites apart from pstars, tilt and PKR although i always feel like i get shafted on pkr lol but i still like it
For tourneys you wont get any sites that has tourneys like fulltilt and there is nothing compared to stars.The reason is other sites just dont have the traffic to fill them up and if thats what your going to expect, expect to be disappointed

bodog is small but seems easy to win with less ppl in the guarantees about 150-200. ive made more $$ on bodog in 2 weeks than i made on fulltilt in 2 years lol. so i like it good luck ive had no luck on the cash tables and takes very long for sit an go to get going. the one thing i do not like is 1 hour late reg

I say its and alright site to.I just had the buy-in there high for my bank roll sometimes..there a strait site.they also dnt have micro tables you have to play 2-5 cnt which isnt a problem just rather play 1-2 cnt better to mange. Players only now thats an alright site to me to.They have nice turnys and great tables to play at..Plus that 5,000 no deposite bouns can in handy to.But i took 1000 of them vip points and now im up $30 in my bankroll..So they are a good site to me to.. I just miss ftp...

I keep getting a Win32 not compatible error when I try to download Bodog! Anyone have any advice or info they can offer to help a desperate want to be playing poker junky out? I would deeply appreciate any input or suggestions to any other sites to play on. Good Luck to All!

Hey Green, sounds like you may be missing some OS files. How offen do you get windows updates? I have a program called Advanced System Care. It is free, and has several programs also free. Their 360 security program looks for any missing windows files and downloads them. It also updates any old files to the newer versions...........

after looking around Bodog and playing there a little i dont think id like to play there to often i like to play tournys (where are they) i also like SnG`s and they take forever to start i even tryed cash game every table was either full or empty joined an epty table and no1 joined maye when they get a few more users ill use it a little more.

Green, what are your computer specs and your operating system? Do you have a 64bit processor and OS, etc.
Have you tried the simple stuff like doing a repair just to make sure your windows files are good? Also have you gotten this message before on other programs? If so, what?

i havent tried bodog yet but have heard good things about the site and its support. they sure could use some traffic though which i'm sure they'll get from US players who left fulltilt / pokerstars. so surely gonna try the site in 1-2 years

I personally don't have an account on Bodog poker but i only heard from friends that is a profitable site. They also mentioned about that freeroll. It's just one but not that many people register to play thats why it might be profitable. They only said they play on cash table on micro limits and the level os players is pretty low compared to similar limits found on bigger sites like pokerstars or full tilt poker, where you can actually find regulars at very low limits like 0.02/0.04$. The fact that the min buy in for tournaments or sngs is $3 + 0.30 $ it's not such a good news, it means you actually need to have at least $100 as bankroll to start playing at those limits. But if the software and the support is good and the level of players is low so the site is profitable it might be worthing to play there. Good luck and keep us posted!

Have been thinking on playing in the 5K guarantee that we get the ticket for today. Bad day, Easter Sunday. Maybe some of us mobsters who have this ticket can all get together and play in the next 1. I really don't think I can play today, not really into it. Next Sunday is a different story.

i just got my NDB from BRM for bodog and started playing there. So far I don't have too many complaints, I like the software. One thing I wish is that they had more low stakes tourneys but I've found it good to play their Sit n Gos. I've heard about them doing $500 freerolls twice daily but haven't seen them on the site so I contacted them about it and they said they may be coming back in the near future so keep checking for them. Still haven't used my ticket for the 5k yet, maybe this weekend...

I had asked them about the $500 freeroll, hopefully they do bring it back. Let me know if you do play that $5K this weekend because I am also thinking of this weekend.......
