yes its official my dad who has been playing online poker for 2 years is better than me, ive been playing online poker for about 10 years now on and off, these results below are my dads tourney winnings over this year, by far way better than mine, but ive noticed hes not good at cash games, but his R.O.I from the MTT covers his losses from them, hes been on a very good run for the past 3 months and very consistent, somethink i never do , well done dad even thou he wont see this posts

Maybe ou wold be better if you stop going all in soon as you see AK in your hands Im sure your dad dont do that. My father started to play 3 months ago and he really enoy playing but he is not very good at this moment... My mother is different story... She plays 8,9 months and she is very good. She won few tourneys so far...

The family as it is now NO, I am the best, also best at poker, altho my bro can play he chooses not to. My grandad was a Pro gambler, rags to riches to rags to riches and would kick anyones ass in any game that involved money.

my brother taught me to play about 2 years ago, hes got pretty good tourney stats ITM about 20% and his biggest cash is better than mine by about $200 but i get alot more good cashs. We both play on stars but as to whos better im not sure im a little more crazy and my swings are extreme lol my bros pretty solid but dont get half as many bigger cashs as me so i dont know. I guess it depends how you play
your dad got nice stats dozn and i think it prob was on the graph it looks like top shark and they update pretty quick most of the time

my father is really good tourny player and cash player but only plays live with friends...have tryed to convince him to play online but wont budge..not like he cant afford it hes chief petty officer 2nd class engineer in the canadian navy....barly works y not play poker? hes pretty tight player though i had KA aginst him one hand he raised me n i pushed. lectured me for quite a while on how no hand is worth ur entire stack preflop

I consider myself the best about poker in the family, but i am only taking in consideration the direct family, who doesnt even plays poker . But i have family in USA and, in particular an uncle and a cousin who probably play, once they even went already to Las Vegas (i bet they weren't there just to get to know the city) and they like games. My uncle is a rifle pro. He is one of the best in the world in terms of shooting plates, with lots of prizes from many countries. But i never asked him if he used to play poker!

Your dad really must be good, there are some really nice profits. In my family just my uncle plays real money poker and he is pretty good, i mean he done some nice profits. He only plays headu up sngs with 10 dollars buy in. He started with a 200 dollars deposit on pokerstars where he plays, now he has around 400 dollars won, thats without the 100% first deposit bonus. He also played some cash games in order to make more vpp's to get the bonus but it started to lose so he stopped... Nowadays i also started to learn to play heads up and of course the strategy is totally different than on other games. Except him there is no one in my family that plays real money online poker. I think he is specialized in heads up, my favourite game is the cash games.

wow that are very nice results and hes getting them consistently so its not just luck. just shows it depends on skill u have inside you and not just experience. but atleast u got bragging rights in cash games

yeah, that´s what I know. In my family gambling is somehow ... you know it´s gambling so my parents accept that I play a little to have some fun, but they would never try at that game or respect it in any way (as long as i win the WSOP Main Event at least )

I guess this would be me since no one else plays in the family. And, most of you know I've only been playing for about 6 months and just started SnG's about 2 months ago. Now the U.S. dictatorship has taken this from me and I've been very upset since I can't play. Only poker I can play on line are play chip games. Down in the dumps! Good Luck to You All!
Well in my family only my brother and I plays only poker, his winnings is a little bit more than me but for sure I'm just better than him when you look at the long term stats etc... and indeed he admit it also and when I play live with the rest of my family, I'm the one who has the more winnings but usually finishes runner up... as I'm still having a problem playing heads up live...

I am also the undiputed Poker champion in my family - basically because I am the only player. I often think my missus should play because the way she bluffs me and makes me think that everything is my fault would be good if she could translate that into some type of poker stategy, fotunatley she hasn't got a clue how to play and cannot read my threads on here...
