So - do you listen to music when playing poker and what kind of music if so? I have troubles, because sometime I enjoy music too much and I don't play my normal game so I decided to forget about the music when I'm playing for a while Smile But sometimes a good instrumental helps me to relax after losing a big pot in 90-10 situation or something like this Smile

Definitely! As long I am not playing more than four tables and the stakes are not too high, I love putting on some tunes as I grind. Red Hot Chili Peppers are a favourite of mine, and I have about 25 alternative rock songs I have as a playlist on YouTube that is also a regular choice. Rock on! Smile

As long as I'm not playing real money games I enjoy listening to some Collective Soul, Old Van Halen, Skid Row, etc. So you know I've been listening to a lot while I play here lately since U.S. can't play real money games any longer.

By the way mahdrof! Nice choice with the Red ot Chili Peppers, nice to see you bringing back the old Avatar! lol Good Luck to You All!

I only hear music when i play on play money. I only play on virtual money when i'm trying to learn a new game. Lately i've been playing on virtual money Pot Limit Omaha and Fixed Limit 2-7 Triple Draw because i'm trying to learn the game as best and start playing on real money after. I listed the latest hits, techno music and also a lot of classic music, to give an example Johnny Cash, AC/DC, etc.
I never listen music when i play on real money because when i play on real money i play at four tables at once and i need to be 100% concentrated on what i do. Often after i play on real money i turn the music on again. Of course, there are many exceptions that actually better concentrate on the game if they listen music.

I do not listen to music while I am playing cash games, because I lose my concentration and therefore my money very fast.

I depends. If I play very important, very big tournament, i want to be absolutely focused on poker, but if I play some slow cash games i like to listen to music. Especially Eminem. Soundtrack from 8 mile. Smile)))
