Hi,this is a hand I played in the sunday turbo takedown last night. Humberto Brenes, who's shortstacked pushed. We just reached the money. There is a $100 bounty if I bust him. Do you play the hand the same way?
btw,for anyone asking,I cashed for ~ $65

lol its a bit on the wild side but you know your going to be an underdog and a bit of luck 40% chance to bust him for $100 not to sure if i would of done the same but then again he could push with almost anything as hes so short so you could even be ahead lol though i would not bet on that ahaha but understand your play did you bust him anyway? lol hope no one else called

He had A5o and I didn't bust him but a prize step of $100 more wouldve required 4xxth place or something and at this point almost 5000 players were still in,so it was a +EV situation I think

you reached the money, shortstack has 100$ bounty :O :O, even if u lose u have a decent stack to play. (still 7000). so no matter the cards , im putting my chips there.
though i expect the big blind to call here, but i dont understand your overshove as the only person who's still to act after you has less than shortstack you trying to scare him ?

Hi
I agree with your play in this tourney, but as already mentioned in the WSOP main event I probably would not have done so. I would be hoping the BB called and eliminated the other player and pushed me up a level.
Anyway GL in the future and see you at the WSOP main event final table in the same situ and see what happens ????

Yeah I pushed because to me it looks a little stronger for some reason,I dont know why lol Wanted to isolate him obv. to get a 1v1 40/60 situation hopefully. And yeah of course in WSOP or even any other tourney I wouldn't have played like that,it's just about the $100 bounty in this case

ahwell ethier way you could not just call so the shove was right but i dont think hes shoving light at best your 40/60 and what if he wins it then you gave a pro a decent stack to play on with and he could potainaly call you in future with j3
