I bet you've signed up to at least one online poker room. If you did, you hopefully used a bonus code. Which bonus is the most important for you, when you create a new account at a poker room?
------------ The best is probably to combine 2-4 of the offers mentioned above, but in this poll I want to know what the most important bonus to you is.

Rakeback is good, but only if you are a hardcore player... if you dont play often, and play small stakes, rackback isnt even worth it.
But you'll really need to be a hardcore player to get that first deposit bonus. At many poker rooms it's almost impossible to get that bonus in cash, if you don't deposit a lot and play big stakes.

I guess the First Deposit bonus is the best, but hard to clear it completly. In the long run a rakeback deal is very nice I guess. I started at Party with a No deposit bonus and after that I am now trying to clear my FDB.

Also, rakeback is no good if your a tourney player. Only good for ring games. For anyone who prefers the big cashes tourneys offer, then the 1st depositors is best. Especially at FTP when they offer happy hour for double points. The easiest bonus to clear is at FTP......

Thats not entirely true; certainly you'll get more rake back from playing ring.. However, If I play ONLY MTTs, I still rake around $10-$20 a day, which is $300-$600 a month, So it's still worth getting 30% or whatever back.
IMHO - Rakeback is easily the best kind of deal you can have.

Thats actually a very, very good thread idea. My personal opinion is that it really depends how far you want to go with online poker. If you intend to invest money in poker in order to win big but also this means you also know to play really good poker then a first bonus deposit offer(offered to all players, no matter if they use a bonus code or not) plus a rakeback offer is what you should be looking for. You may not realize but on a pretty high limit like 0.50/1 $ limit in a matter of a month the rakeback is a pretty important amount of money. On the other hand if you don't have money to invest in poker or you don't have strong poker knowlegde and you just want to learn and if possible to make some money too go for a no deposit bonus. It's a pretty good way to find out if you can be good at this game with no risk. I hope this answers you good at your questions and good luck!

Clearly without hesitating I would pick rakeback deals here... Its the best as we all know that we'll play lots and lots of games so it's very profitable to have a deal and actually in my opinion the best rakeback deal right now has to be the cake network one... the best one for at least those who plays cash games...

I believe this has got to do with the level of the player. When someone is begining in this world, the best thing is no deposit bonus, in order to have access to play for real without taking any risks. After that, the best is thw deposit bonus, which will reward you for depositing and playing a lot and well at those tables. Only if you play nice you will achieve the necessary to receive the bonus from the deposit. Better than that to me, is the BRM deposit bonus. I had the chance of taking a lot of time to achieve the needed points at Winner to get the 5,000 points gift, which was great to me, once i cant play every days. I chose deposit bonus from your list!

I agree with Fakiry in that no deposit bonuses are best for beginners. Once you are able to play well enough to hold your own the best bonus is rakeback. The trouble is that the two seem to be mutually incompatible, it is diffcult to get rakeback from a site where you have have had a no deposit bonus.

if you got no money to deposit then def no deposit bonus but if u can deposit depends if u want to play long term on that site. for long term def rakeback cause deposit bonuses dont last long but if u wanna do hit and run then gift offers/ deposit bonuses many sites you now get deposit bonuses with rakeback (bonus gets deducted from rakeback in most tho)

it depends on so many things. How much is the Rake, how easy is it to clear a FDB? And other Bonusses (such as Take 2) are great (maybe even in combination to the other ones). It even depends on what limits you play etc.
but Rakeback always is a good choice if you wanna stay at a site
