As some of you may know my FTP account was hacked a few weeks ago. since then i havnt really played online as iv just lost heart in it. i dont wonna deposit after what happened. it means the long task of grinding freerolls and that may take a long time. How do i get the interest in online poker back after something like this happening?

Only advice I could offer you p0ck is to try starting fresh as gazza suggested if it's being hacked again that troubles you. You also have to want to play the game and have fun playing the game or it's hard to find comfort in it. If you can't have fun playing then I don't think you'll find happiness playing poker. I like to believe even the pros have fun playing although there's probably a burn out stage they go through. Hope you find your fun in the game again! Good Luck to you and All!

If something like that happened to me I would be depressed like hell and stopped playing poker for awhile and then after two months I would start playing again.

take a small break to smell the flowers a break in poker is always good, at least for me. do as they suggested about maximizing your security and then if you dont feel like playing in FT try another site. after a good win it will come to you again

Of course what happend you you and your account sucks a lot. As stated above take a small break before playing poker again. Of course once you decide to deposit again and hit the tables again make sure to use all the security features offered by the poker platform on which you decide to play again, full tilt poker or pokerstars. I already have a security pin on both accounts, on both sites and never had any security problems so far. In addition to that i also plan to get the security phone token from full tilt poker for 5000 full tilt points, it's a lot more handy than the token device you could also get. I also have a security token for my personal bank account and it's basically unbreakable. Good luck at the tables in future, it would be a shame to quit poker....

Take a break and try to forget about it (there are more important things in life). After the break, just use a NDB from here and try to find out if you still enjoy the game. If so, you can maybe make a real deposit.

I also played freerolls from BRM after I really wanted to play again but had no money left. Now I am on 80$ (with FT help of Take 2 promo paying 25$). Just play the freerolls. Didn´t took to long to get some $ out of there.

I've read the other replies and just think take your time. I cannot imagine how you would feel, but insecurity must be the worst feeling especially when playing a game like poker and not having any trust in yourself. Do I go all in with my Aces? etc.
Take some time - have a break and trust your friends here at BRM.

so after reading all comments i decided to make a small deposit on FTP i think my main problem was having to grind the freerolls an i hate em lol. now its time to get back into it and play some poker havnt really played for a few weeks only live games so i think iv had a good break.
Thanks for all the advice and i will update any progress i make
