Hey there Mobster's having thoroughly enjoyed the Mobster movie thread, I thought I'd start one on your favorite poker movie. This one also may have been done before, but I though with alot of new members it might be fun to do, and if it hasn't been done...good. So I will list the ones that I can think of and remember. Fell free to add any I have forgotten. Of course mine will always and forever be "Rounders". My favorite opening line of any movie, really. Matt Damon is narrating: "They say if you sit down at the poker table and you can't spot the sucker in the first 30 minutes, you are the sucker." Enjoy fellow Mobster's.

Liked Maverick due to the time frame in which the movie took place, plus a fn of comedy with a plot.
by the way! Good to see you posting hoodi! How's the weekend (live) games gone you said you was playing in or had set up with some friends. Hope all's well! I'm just wishing FT and PS would get things addressed with the U.S. and allow U.S. citizenas to play again. Good Luck in All!
It's a bit odd, but I haven't seen any of them I'd like to see "Rounders" (and I'm planning this for like three months now lol) and maybe then I'll try others. The only movie that I know there was a little bit of poker action is f'n James Bond I need to change it very soon

I have a couple poker movies I like but. . . . for star power and story line and showing the strain of marathon poker sessions "THE CINCINATTI KID" takes it !!!!! The long time king of poker and all those who would sell their mother/wife/first born just to knock him off just once, and the young gun who has no fear finally getting at the table and his chance to be the man not just the "KID" chassing the man. . . every poker player has been there atleast once!
