well there not called jokerstars for nothing , they have put up there fees for sit and go and tourneys, probly cause they have lost money from the usa players, and there aim is to get there profit back at the players who are still playing there bloody rip off and they did this with out warning us, i never got a email either about this cause i would of not deposit knowing this, for every 5 games i play at my level am losing out on 1 buyin cause they have higherd the buyin fooking idiots,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, im not gonna play there no more, i think there will lose many customers doing this, its bad business imo i feel robbed..................... any one else feel the same, you do the math on how much your paying extra each month cause of this
the micro grinders have no chance there now, the rich get richer and the poor" well lets say fook off from jokerstars b4 they get even poorer"
yeah dont blame you my friend, many of other micro pokerstars players are leaving, all hell has broke loose over this, a few other poker forums has express there feeling over this too not happy at all, blame the F.B.I or the usa goverement, yet still just blame pokerstars i mean jokerstars for bening greedy fookers.........

They also made some good changes such as the new hyper turbo SNGs etc. But still, the rake increase of the micro SNGs all the way up to the $33's is a joke, and the new blind structure that they just copied from fulltilt sucks as well, already didn't like it on pokerstars.fr. Guess it's time to build a roll for the $11 SNGs and move to party (since anything under $11 is unplayable there as well because of the rake)

I quit Joker Stars when they took all the freerolls away from everyone a few years ago and gave them all to German players. There was a huge German signup at the time. I have played there a bit since then, but never deposted a lot because of the chit way they treat people. So now they are ripping the current people there by over inflating their fees. I only got 1 thing to say to them again

So with jokerstars doing this, what's your thoughts about FT pulling the sdame type of stunt? Also, do you think I'll ever get to collect my BR from either of these sites? I've seen a few news posts stating U.S. citizens could get their $$, but I haven't been able to do this yet! Oh well, I guess I'll know within the next couple of months, but if anyone from the U.S. has had any luck at getting their $$ I'd like to hear about it. Thanks and Good Luck to All!

I heard from another site that the only American players allowed to withdraw, are the Pro's. Because of the amount of money involved, Joker Stars really has no choice. Not all of them are taking advantage, but those with millions are. So from my info not the regular players are allowed. You have to have a certain amount of coin to be eligible.

f**k this is pretty s**t man im not to happy with the new blind structures, all the turbos down to 3min blinds its more like a hyper turbo and the normal ones down from 10min blinds to 6min that pisses me off more that the rake increase tbh

Yep this really sucks, increasing the fee! Like flipped i'm also more pissed off about the change of blind structures, but still. I always thought of pokerstars being one of the most customer unfriendly of all sites, kinda arrogant really. Decisions like this without informing members, fffffsssssssss!
To Arsenej: for playing big tournements Stars is still better than PP and the fee shouden't be a problem with them, its more sng's and cashgames were its noticable.

tbh i would like to see the difference to other sites for the rake paid on them. I maybe wrong but i thought the rake paid on stars was one of the lowest compared to other sites. Apart from the blind structure the rake is not went up that crazy it has even went down on some games and they have changed the buy in for some multi table sngs which i do like.
I have to say all the same the sngs are taking forever to fill up now compared to before but im not at the point of not playing there anymore to go play at a site with no where near as many tourneys and not nice software i think thats jumping the gun a bit so i will see how i feel about this in a week or so.

Hi all.
I am relatively new to poker and as such have recently opened a Pokerstars account. Having read what you guys have said here I am now going to play my $45 on the biggest buy in tourney possible and get out quick - hopefully I will win a few quid.
Anyway thanks for your advice and GL in the future.

It's been 10% for $1 45 mans, now it's 15% for them. At $3 they were $3.25 ($3+$0.25),now they are $3.32,$6's used to be $6.50's,now they are $5.43's. It's just a joke that stars promoted this as an improvement while its clearly not.

$3.40 45 seater sngs are now $3.32
i would like to try and find somewhere you can compare to other sites to see what they all charge as party poker rake for sngs was crazy and most sites i remember were way more than stars so is this now more than the other sites or just the same?
------------ i meant the turbos about the 45 seaters $3.40 had been reduced to $3.32

I guess it's a good thing i have a bankroll lower than 200 dollars on pokerstars and i only play ocassionally there. In my opinion the rake you got to pay for tournaments or sng or even heads up sngs are waaayy too high on micro stakes to be profitable, to be more specific i remember on pokerstars i paid a 20 cents rake for a 2 dollars heads up sng, now it seems it's around 25 cents or so. Of course this needs to be cause for this rake grow, the fact that they allowed for US players to cash out last week. It was clear they need those money from someone and the only way to do it was to increase the rake of their current players, which sucks bit time especially for the micro and low grinders. Now i consider to cash out from Pokerstars....
