well ive decided to open this thread so id have a place to post my winnings loses ect and not have to make a new thread everytime! i will start my blog off with a double i have just had after hittin the nuts on flop!
------------ the way this hand happend was i raised preflop 3$..he reraised me 15$...i thought about it for a few seconds and decided to give it a go.....then blam comes the quads! he raised 27 i reraised 54 and he pushes

havent posted much in my blog latly...have really been trying to work on my game! dropped stakes massively as i was playing 10-90$ tournys and 50/1$ cash games and have been dropping my bankroll like mad been playin some 1.50$-7$ tournys and havent been making out bad. but have been getting bored with the low stakes. i have also been giving omaha a go and enjoy that a lil. anyways just another quads picture on a 5-10cent table

Good for you to drop down when things don't work out. Take your time and come back fresh, and I'm sure you'll be happier with the outcome. Sometimes things don't work no matter how hard you try, and then at other times you can play any two cards and win. GL!

true enough...i just find it hard to play for so long for so little lol just played a 27man 3.50$ tourny for 2 hours..came in 3rd for a whooping 15$....11.50$ profit for 2hours play is worse then minimum wage lol the last hand i was short stacked and called his 3X raise i believe...shitty this was when i hit he hit much harder

I get it. Its very difficult to drop stakes when your used to a certain level. If i do i just can't keep my concentration and strictness in my strategies in check. So cudos to you, hope you"ll be back playing your normal stakes soon

i will be lol only a matter of time before i snap...no biggie lose my bankroll and start over not a hudge deal...would rather grind back up insteada depositing agin but f*** it...thinkin about joinin the navy in october after the wife has our baby so might as well enjoy poker while i have time to do so

Wow, joinin the navy would be great. When you do poker is off for a couple of years for sure, so enjoy while you still can. But wouden't you miss the first month's of your baby? It will be a wonderfull experience and very difficult for you to leave home for long periods once you first laid eyes on little Arsenej

well thats a possibility...but if i signup in october chances are i wont get it til atleast febuary as canadian military is pretty slow. my fathers a petty-officer 2nd class engineer in the navy and is pretty well off and i kinda just want my kids to have the life style i did...cutting meat for 35K a year dont really pay the bills and wont support that life style. theres alot of sacrifice for sure but the military dont go away as much as they used to as if costs (i believe) about 100k a day to run each ship off shore (figures my father told me). so hopefully i wont be gone to much!. they do, do some great things i would enjoy doin, he went to new orleans after the tsuami to help out the injured and find survivers. he found 4 kittens in a box on top of a bookshelf! i know its not always gonna be enjoyable but it is what i make it i guess.

When you have a family you have decisions to make and you have to put their interests first. If you and your wife feel this is what is best then go for it and best of luck aresenej1. I was close to enrolling in the military as well when I was in my late teens, and for sure it would have been a life changing experience. As it was I went through a life changing experience at that point that would shape me and my outlook on life forever. Best wishes for you and your family.

Who in his perfect mind, sees a doubled table and calls a $54 re-raise? Ok, so on pre-flop he made a raise to guarantee only "good hands" on the roll. The problem is when we tend to think people will only go with high cards or high pair pre-flop after a raised like the one your oponent did. Good for you!

i honestly dont have a clue what was goin on there....i was gonna fold preflop but decided to call and see if i get lucky..which i did lol. he bet and i just min raised him to 54 and buddy pushes allin. u would think that hed atleast think i hada hand after calling his initial 15$ bet..but i aint complaining.

Well than you"ll have the first month's to enjoy and the way you put it it sounds like a well thought trough-decision. And i know its nice that the navy isen't all about war, the other things they do sound even better. I also get a kick out of slamming monsters with junk. Just beware, those hands are the kind that start whining threads about monsters getting cracked and online poker is rigged, along with lots of head slamming AND SENTENCES ALL IN CAPS WITH LOTS OF EXCLAMATION MARKS!!!!!!!!

lol uma donk for sheeeeeezy...normally i wouldnt call a 15$ raise with low pockets but had that feeling
didnt wanna make a thread about this as it is really offtopic and we have enough threads nowadays...but wanted to share it anyways..
so this morning i have to work at 5am. normal routine is, get up go directly to front door and let my 3 small dogs out. use washroom/brush teeth kiss wife goodbye say bye to puppies and then off to hell...anyways this mornin got up and before letting dogs out the wife wakes to remind me to lock the door? wierd cuz she never gets up nor worries about the door. then i went to let dogs out and they wouldnt leave the bedroom, so thats fine! about 5minutes later the 3 went out side and insteada doin there business there goin nuts barking growling ect....huuummmmm im curious/worried as this morning is goin alot differnt then my normal routine..but anyways left the house to find my 2 car doors wide open...everyything gutted and throw about!...some s**t eatting donkey f*ckers broke into my car and stole my stuff.....BLAH!!! well agin thats fine. they got 3packs of cigarettes and about 8bux from my car and nothing from the wifes!. thing that pisses me off the most is i have half a extra large tim hortons coffee in there and a over filled ashtray, which the generous culperates decided to make a ciggy soup all over my f'n seats blah not a good way to start at 4:30am...no cigarettes and coffee moneys gone. long day it was lol
sorry folks had to vent and figured maybe someone had a bad day and needed to read anohter bad day to feel better
------------ update: was just talkin to the police agin! i didnt mention this part earlier but after i noticed my car was broken into i was ina bit of shock/rage. i pulled out of the driveway drove maybe? 15 feet, and reversed back home....went into the garage and grabbed hammer and drove around the subdision (6streets) looking for my smokes while talkin to the police....called them to let them know i was on the hunt for the guys, not to report them as i know first hand the police dont do s**t but wanted to save my own ass a little if i found them them and somthing happend...anyways ways the police called back asking what i was missing and said the have apprianded 2 guys and just waiting on the paper work to see what they had on them...long story short i may get my smokes back
