The only sad part on this is the people lost their jobs and not they sacked all the pros. i dont think any of them would be in a worst position than the employees. starting all over again sucks big time

We get a bad news and a good news each day about the situation of absulute poker and ultimate bet. For me then end is clear, i mean many people said that after they'll make a deal with the officials of the unites states gouvernament everything will e fine and all united states players will get their money back, but of course this is not the case. I thing i said in a previous post, it's not a matter legal, the majority of poker traffic that was on absolute poker and ultimate bet was from unites states and canada; and since that poker traffic is now gone their tables are pretty much empty, and since the tables are empty they don't get any rake dollars so the end is near. i think now the mother company will open other poker rooms here in europe but i doubt they'll have any luck considering all the bad background these company has. As you may know both pokerstars and full tilt poker invested a lot in advertising in europe so now they are out of the woods.
