Holy s**t what happened between like 212-217 Big Smile Nice comeback though, keep grinding mate. Have yet to see you on everest... it wont be long im sure!

Yeah lol, it was really sick Big Smile Also what I've did wasn't good at all, because playing longer to lower your losses most of the time will result in even bigger losses, but that's only when you are on tilt - my mindset was fine even after such downswing and I've had this feeling that I'm playing good so I won't lose anymore and in fact I didn't Tongue

EDIT: Damn, my mindset is f'n good Big Smile I've just had another look on that 210-217 part and I just can't stop laughing xD

nice comeback Thumbs Up

gl for ur next session Blink

It's all from everest. And I wasn't lucky during my last session (which was yesterday). After winning over 5BI I lost almost 5BI so at the end of the day I had like ~1BI profit Aww crap! I've played so bad that I can't rememeber when I've played like this, really. Now I just need to chill out and play my A-game. This was the kind of session when the donks ALWAYS show better hand when you go all in with them, so I've laso had some bad luck, but that wasn't even my D-game, it was like X or Z Big Smile

During last 3 sessions I've won just a little bit over $7 - but it's still profit Smile I need to win like 12BI more on NL2 and then I'll move to NL5.

Last session (so my first today) was +$2.5, but I've lost like 3BI in hands that I've played bad, where I knew I was behind but still I called or raised Aww crap! But when someone openlimp/calls TT from BTN and hits quad on the flop... Aww crap! Well, it happens Smile I hope to play 2nd session today and I've also qualified to the weekly EPIC satellite (Everest Poker International Cup or Championship or whatever starts with "c" and fits here) so it will be busy Sunday Big Smile

keep grinding and the way you are playing im sure you'll be playing on NL5 in few days.
and gl in that EPIC tournament, btw how much is the prizepool and runners ?

There were like ~1300 players with 25 entries to the final EPIC sat (where the pool was 1-50 = 500$ + for places 1-10 package to the live EPIC event), but I wasn't in MTT or poker mood, so I've busted after 5 mins, but it wasn't like all in any two, I just shoved with 88 and lost in 4 way pot vs. AA, 77 & AT. I've had OESD after the flop came 9TJ and if I'd won this pot I would keep playing in thois tournament, but the turn and river were 5 and 2 and the aces won Tongue

I'm also after 45minutes session (I've asked my parents if they'll need my help before the session and they said that they won't for sure and what happened later all of you should know Tongue) and lost a little bit over $1, but only thanks to variance.

I've played AK and floped TPTK, oppnent bets $.35, I raise him to $1, he calls, turn is Q, he shoves, I shove (it was 3-way) and 3 player calls (with J-high air, no draws...) and the first opponent had AQ >.>

Then I raise with aces, someone 3-bets me so I 4-bet him and he calls. The flop is xx6, he shoves, I call... he shows 66 Smile Instant note on him, I'd really like to play more vs. someone who 3-bets and calls 4-bets with sixes ;D

I haven't posted in a while, so now I'll do some small update. I've played 4 sessions which I haven't described here yet, so here they are:

#1: 426 hands and almost break even, +$0.07
#2: 355 hands +$6.78
#3: 409 hands +$2.33
#4: and my first session today, 376 hands +$10.26

Today I've played tighter than usuall, also I didn't bluffed (only c-bet bluffs). I've won one hand JJ vs. KK with jack on the turn, the other hands were vs. donks, so +EV as hell Big Smile

Also I've folded... full house Smile But I was sure I'm behind and it was only -30bbs Tongue

nice session today, 10$ is good profit at those limits Thumbs Up
and going by your last sessions i reckon you will be pretty close to starting playing nl5
gl with next sessions Blink

Yeah, I'd like to shoot at NL5 with 20BI so I'll need like 4 or 5BI on NL2 more Blink

Okay, my blog was dead for some time so now I think I'll post small update. I'm playing on NL5 now, but I've had some bad sessions and I have less than 20BI, but also still I don't need to go back to NL2. If I'll losse few more BI on NL5 then I'll have to go back to NL2, but I hope I won't need to do so Smile

My game was qutie good, but I was on tilt when was lossing like 62s vs. QQ and 75s vs KK (in both hands the opponent DIDN'T hit flush or straight...) so it was sick. I'll play more in the few next days, because yesterday I haven't played at all and earlier I was playing just one short session/day.

I haven't played for like 2 days in a row now (or three?), but I'm planning to play today. I'm moving soon so you can imagine how "much" time for poker I've had recently Smile It sucks a little bit, because I'd like to play 60+ hours this month and propably I won't, I'd have to play like 4-5 hours during weekends and 2 hours from monday to friday. Also I'd like to go somewhere with friends for a few days so it will be even harder to achieve my goals. The good thing is that when I can't play and I have few minutes I'm watching some videos, sometimes even twice or more to learn, also I've analysed few sessions so let's hope this month will be +EV Smile

As I said I'm moving soon so yesterday I haven't played poker, but today I'm after first session and in 344 hands I've won $4.2. I'm planning to play another session and I would love to play two + EPIC rookie sat, because I have two tokens for them and yet haven't used any of them Tongue So I won't write too much and I'll just go on playing right after I finish writing this post so tomorrow I'll try to give you and update after 2+ sessions.

So... After last update I've played two sessions. One was like +1BI, the second lik -2.6BI... So it kinda sucks, I've made some stupid all ins (like holding AA on JQK board, when I was 100% sure he has JJ or QQ, but called his all in. I'm lucky that he was just like 50-60bb deep). But also had some bad luck, for example I've hit my nut straight draw on the board J8xJ7, but my opponent had 88, also lost KK vs. QQ with Q on flop, so the session should be ~break even or with just small loss.

Don't feel too bad about these kinds of calls. Sometimes my inner poker "voice" is telling me I am no longer ahead, but instead I don't listen to it either. You have many years ahead of you to fine tune your instincts and learn to trust it when you are on your game. Good luck and keep posting, enjoying your blog. Thumbs Up

I'm thinking about playing some MTTs or cash HU now, but also was thinking about going back to NL2 and building my roll to $200 and then going up to NL10, because I'm after like 10k hands on NL5 and I'm probably break even. I'll play few days more on NL5 and I'll try to go back to 99% ABC poker (now I'm playing good poker, but not for these stakes), where the 1% will be something like steals any two vs. tight players and I'll try to believe in fishes bets, even if it's 5x pot overbet Aww crap!

But when it comes to cash HU my roll is too small, because on micro the rake in HU cash games is way too high. So maybe I'll play some smaller MTTs and try to cash one of them, it would be good boost for my bankroll.

Also today I've "mindset day", because I haven't played yet and probably I won't (Premier League season starts in less than 2 hours Worship + Polish league has already started, so I've got two football/soccer matches to watch and I won't miss them Big Smile) but now I'm starting to watch mindset video and I hope that my mindset will get better soon, because I'm losing money because of it...

though the level of play wont matter much between these stakes but if you are break even at NL5, u might have same/ bad result at Nl 10. taking a shot wont hurt but if u get in a bad run, wouldnt be a bad idea to step down to NL5.

My mindset sucks. I lost 25% of my roll on tilt and then another 40% playing fishes NL10 HU (where I played because of tilt obviously) and getting suck outs (for example one called my 3bet with 27s and hit flush on the flop, another went all in with flush draw on flop and I've had two pair, he hit it on the turn, another 83s and hit flush on the turn, I've had trips...). Damn bad day, so I'm back to the situation in which I was when I was starting this blog.

There wasn't any update for a bit too long, so here it is - now I'm working with my mindset a lot. I learn new things, I see thing different way - that's good. Also I'm working to have better concentration - found some good ways to do so, but just started yesterday so kinda can't tell about results yet. I'm playing simple memory games, also it's good to count letters in text, for example you open some news and then count how many letters "o" or whatever are in there, but only with your mind and try to do it as fast as you normally read. And of course don't stop to check if you missed one of them, just count, then write down the number and check it. You can start with small news, you'll see that the number will be soon close to the real number of letters, then you can move up to the long articles. It would be perfect if you could manage to count them really well (close to the real number of letters) and also understand & remember what you were reading Big Smile, but the most important thing when you are starting is that you shouldn't read at all, you just have to focus on letters.

Since I've mob points that I can cashout I'm planning to do so and move to the PokerStars. Why? Everets' software is bad. With my 17" I can play there max 4 tables and I play too loose with so few tables on. I'm planning to deposit like $70 and play 6 to 8 (or more) tables on NL2 SH plus some $1 MTTs on the weekends.
