Thats great news, Cannes it's a really nice there, i actually was there for three days on a holiday trip two years ago. I wasn't in any of the casinos but they looked nice. Now i really bet that after what happend to the online poker industry in United States, will see a lot more of participants from Europe and way less participants on WSOP. I'm also looking forward to see what poker pro players will register to this event since from what i understand the WSOPE it's not sponsored by a known poker platform like pokerstars, full tilt poker or even bodog. This could mean some restrictions for some pro poker players to join and play in this event. I know full tilt poker banned all their pros to participate at high stakes poker since the table brand of the series was sponsored by pokerstars. It would be really a shame to see that top pros can't participate die to their sponsorship contracts.
