The World Series of Poker today announced a number of changes and innovations for this year's edition. A little over two weeks for the start of tournaments, both the players and poker fans have much to expect, including live streaming of all the final tables.

These are the changes for this year:

Live streaming events with bracelet:

They are prepared two chambers, one to the table and another for the board and the tournament director will announce the action so you can listen at home too. The action will be a delay of 5 minutes and not see players' hole cards. Still, we will first of all transmission events.

Sponsors

The Jack Links is back and the Miller Brewing Company, renewing the sponsorship contract. On The Tilt will be responsible for the brand and the brands bracelets Blue Shark Optics, Klipsch Dearform and Slippers are also present in the biggest poker event in the world.

And even now, to all of you who participate in the WSOP Main Event, the Dearform Slippers is a company specializing in slippers slippers .. and will offer all participants.

The final tables will also have automatic shufflers, courtesy of Shuffle Master, which will accelerate a little action.

Hall of Fame

The biggest change in the Hall of Fame is the introduction of what is known as Chip Reese Rule. Reese is the youngest player to be named to the Poker Hall of Fame, 40 years old. In honor of the player and how to avoid criticism last year when it appeared the names of Phil Ivey and Tom Dwan, from now players must be at least 40 years to be appointed.

Another change is the introduction of a jury panel made up of players and elements of the media to help select candidates and complement the process of public nomination.

Player Of The Year

The Grinder Mizrachi When Michael did not get the title of Player of The Year, despite having won the $ 50,000 Poker Players Championship and have reached the final table of the Main Event, many voices were raised highlighting the failures of the system. The new system has not been fully revealed but includes a points system based on buy-in and the number of players. Very similar to our rankings, so.

Another change that might cause a stir is the inclusion of the WSOPE in the race for Player of the Year

Convention Center

The venue remains the same, with the action taking place at Amazon and Pavilion. But now we find places to charge mobile phones, free wireless in the halls, cash games 6-handed and Chinese Poker.

Action without bracelet

In addition to the bracelet events, the Rio will offer more action than ever before, including satellites from $ 75. The Daily Deepstack are back with more action, since they allow re-entry during the late registration of four levels.

The biggest change will be the drop in the number of players. Black friday will have an impact, as it cuts off the online qualifiers from the three poker rooms involved.
