so last night all our buddies went over to hoodi's to play a cash game, and it was getting late so i was nearing my last hand for the night, when I look down at KK. three players in, i open for two dollars, it gets raised to 6, hoodi calls it, i re raise to 16, a fold and then a call from hoodi. the flop comes down A 10 8, or something around there, and hoodi pushes all in for 11.50. im thinking he definitely got his pair of A's, and he had beat a couple people this way before, so I was going to be disciplined enough to throw away my KK. So i folded, and showed him the KK. I asked him what he had, he flips over 9h 10h! maybe it's because i'm new, but i got fooled. but i definitely learned from that one so watch out hoodi you'll get yours

Your're lucky he showed you the cards, 99.9% of the time you have to pay to see mine. Seems like everytime you get KK, an A shows up on the board right?

I wish I could say I used the chips to go on to win alot of . Unfortunately, not 3 hands later I got pocket kings cracked by 69s(they flopped trips) I eventually went bust.... One of the weakest players at our game actually went on to bust the table. He and another player were heads up, they got all the money in, player 1 had a flopped flush, and the weak player called all the way down to make a better 1 card flush and break the table. I don't mind when the donks win every once in a while, they wouldn't come back if they never won. @ FunnyMan, you can't bluff an idiot. Meaning, I respected your play enough, to try to make a move like that. I may pay for it later when u call a bet I maybe would've wanted you to fold. Variance my friend, variance. And hey, at least you still have a bankroll, and were leaving, sometimes a play like that can't send you on tilt, but you weren't there long enough to tilt. See you next time FunnyMan, and GL @ the tables Mobsters!
------------ The board was A83 rainbow, btw I had no pair, or draw.

Very nice Funnyman and Hoodi, i bet you played eachother often enough now to know eachother's play and strategies, at least a bit. Maybe this hand was an example of that?

I've been known to be able to read most player's I play with pretty quickly, but I've logged a few hours w funnyman, yes. It was easy to discern that he had a big pair when he 3 bet pre-flop, as he plays pretty tight and aggressively as I have taught him. The Ace was just the perfect scare card to bluff, since I missed the flop completely with my suited connectors.
