Well, right now my biggest problem should be the late stages of tournament. I've read that in early and perhaps middle stages it's good to play strong BSS - which I'm playing at cash tables, so I wouldn't have any problems here, but I might have some troubles playing late stages, so that's where I need to improve a lot.

Best advice for later stage (short stack stage) - is think about what push/fold actually means. Seriously think about just shoving or folding in sooo many situations.. So often in MTT I see people still making idiot flat calls (for a third of their stack, etc) and "standard" 3X BB raises when they only have 12bb ...

Particularly if you're not sure what is appropriate, it is VERY hard to go wrong by just shoving the hands you want to play and folding the rest..

I'm quite drunk, maybe this sounds crazy..

Well its kinda like this,"do or die", normally here(unless having a large stack) you are forced to gamble, take flips, if small stack you basically going AI looking to x2 or better, taking blinds will only help you last another round, which is better than busting...but you got to go hypo aggressive.
If BS, well lucky old you huh, sit back and relax....NO!!! BIG mistake, you have a huge advantage and need to bully the table, get mid stack to fold to your drawing hands, mid pair etc....BULLY BULLY BULLY....you want a 1st right.
Some players will be holding back trying to make final table, punish them, BS or SS.
In short you have to open up your game, get aggressive, spot weakness and go for the win.
Its here the badbeats frustrate you a little, but its dog eat dog, doing nothing results in nothing, take a calculated risk.GL

Mid/late stage play depends on stack size. If we're playing a turbo then stack < 20bb is shove/fold.. Better to shove strong here to try and avoid having to shove uber light later when the blinds eat away at us and we are <10bb. Shove wide from blinds to resteal button/late position steal attempts. We Need Those Chips!

If we're in better shape >30bb then we need to put pressure on other medium stacks and be aware of how light shortstacks are shoving. A lot of people tighten up as we get nearer the bubble so we have to do the opposite. Time to steal steal steal.Keep the pressure on on all streets.. Better to bubble in a blaze of glory than fold our way to a min cash.

Once we've passed the bubble it's all about the fight to the final table. This is where we really need to channel the inner sicko inside us and notch up the aggro level. Pounce on weakness. All your chips are belong to us Heart
