Hey guys,I'm normally not someone who's making posts like this, but I saw others doing it too so I guess, why not? Just got 2nd in the $16.50 double shootout on Stars,it only had 72 players but still got me a nice prize ($226),which is a big boost for my BR since these $16.50 were far beyond my usual buy in's (when I play MTTs I usually play everything between $1-$5 buy in). Lost with AQ<K3 last hand with a rivered K,but still,I'm happy right now
You can all watch the replay of the FT sometime next week (it's getting replayed for some reason, thats what the lobby says at least)

Thanks Not sure but I think it started at 14:30 EST,so 18:30 GMT (I think). Yeah it kinda was the main reason why I even played it..that,and because I was in the mood for a shootout, lol I don't think I'll play it next week though, making it through the 1st round is much harder than the actual final table since you have to finish first. On the FT people play relativly tight because every place will get them more cash, but yeah,1st round was pretty hard.

Yeah I played it but I was pretty much deadmoney in my other MTTs... Don't like playing these freerolls that much anyways, way too many donks that push every hand at the beginning plus the structure sucks Still need 250VPP to keep Silver this month, but that's because I was mainly playing on Party lately, maybe I'll try to grind for silver
Posted by MarcWinz: Nice one. Good to finish high in a tourney, no matter what the prize pays, does your confidence the world of good.
Be careful though it wont take long to blow it if you are playing out of your confort zone.
GL anyway and to all you mobsters out there..........................
Yeah the $16.50 was a little beyond my comfort zone.. I was going to unregister again about 2 min before start, but it wasn't possible for some reason...good thing it wasnt

Well done sir! It was pretty dangerous to play at those limits, i mean the buy in for this tournament, this is the way the majority of players bust their bankroll. Still, i would really like to see that last hand you played again, but i'm not sure where you can see it again, so it could be better if you could post the hand over here. Of course on those final tables the style of play is a bit loose but again there is the fact that players are pretty tired after couple of hours of playing poker in the tournament. Anyway with a bit of luck you could basically boost your bankroll and play safely at these king of limits/buy ins, although it was hard to get here it would be a lot more easier to play from now on. Good luck!

Well done. Nice prize and a good boost for your bankroll. But be careful though with your choices. The higher you are the longer the fall gl and keep it going

Thanks all,the replay is up now (It's called "$16.50 Double Shootout Final Table - May 21" ,you can find it under Tourney/All,or alternativly you can just use the filter and filter for shootouts only, that way it can be found easier
