I actually expected this to happen after the reactions before the event. All major player already said they are not interested in participating on this world poker tour event. As SuperNoob said another important reason is that all big names in the poker world are prepping for the world serious of poker event from this year. On the other hand this could have been a good opportunity to add a world poker tour event in your cv. Many amatuers will try now to get this title. Also the buy in for this event was pretty small for the major names in the game so maybe this could be another reason for which the major pros have not participated. Lets hope wsop will have many participants this year and names like tom dwan durrrr and phil ivey will be there!
