WHAT THE F***  0
I swear this kind of stuff has been happening everytime I play lately and its so frustrating, not a suckout or aces getting cracked but total miracles and here is another one from this morning. Early in the tourney with blinds at 20 40 action folds to me, I am one position before the button, I have 6205 in chips and pick up As 9s and raise to 160 the villian is on the button with 14640 in chips and calls the blinds fold. The flop is 9c Kc Ad the pot is now 380 and I bet 190 the villian raises to 380 I reraise to 760 now the villian reraises to 3040 this is where I pause. Could he have a set? Maybe he has A K, or maybe 2 clubs. He did not reraise preflop and has been playing some pretty mediocre hands so I'm thinking he could have 2 clubs or at best K 9 but I'm thinking most likely a weak A. I put him on the A, like A J, A 10, maybe even something stupid like A 5 so I shove all in for my remaining 6045 he snap calls and has me covered, villian turns over Ac 3s, awesome!!! What an idiot!!! The turn is 7c and the river is 5c!
WTF???

Runner runner flush for your opponent always sucks when you are out in front, but it happens. I have had this happen in live play so trust me, it happens there too. The important thing is that you got him to commit his chips with the worse hand, and more times than not you will win that one. Gotta roll with da punches. Blink

runner runner flush isn't that big of a miracle Tongue had it happen alot against me and for me. Also try avoiding putting everything in preflop or on the flop in tourneys, its hard if you play against maniacs but if you give in to those situations luck plays a far bigger factor then when you try and extract max profit when you have the nuts. Unless you have a monster and someone desides to go all in with tptk. 2 pair is a tournament killer imo, it look strong but there are enough hands that crack it.

Worst that ever happened to me is flop a full house have a donk call with A high and he get runner runner 4 of a kind from the two 5's that where allready on the flop, now that is a miracle. And thats a blow to your stomach. Main thing in tournaments is avoid those situations where they can get runner runner not only because you get busted but mainly these players actually think they're being rewarded for good play and will keep doing it. In tournaments surviving is far more importent then winning huge pots. Avoid unneccesary all in scenario's and you should be fine to reach money more often.

In a way I agree cuz so many times there will be 2 or 3 all in and I lay down the best hand cuz someone has to have something better and I usually avoid getting it all in and i'm not saying runner runner flush is that rare I see it all the time but I just dont see the logic here at all I wud of never put so much in with his ace and there was no way he thinks about the clubs cmon ace 3 really? He put all those chips in with ace rag there cud have been clubs, sets, a better ace the villains play here is real real bad

------------
also alot of times those runner runner flushes happen when someone has a hand that you can justify calling with, I can not justify this play at all

depending on the stakes you play there are more then enough people who think A rag is the nuts, and they will never ever lay it down so the majority of the time you'll stack up on them, but try to see the river for the best price possible, what I do is actually look at the nationality of the villain on full tilt poker there are some countries that stand out for being such donks. Its mostly in early stages of tournaments this will ocure, more towards the money these players are long gone because they play like that they can't hold on to the chips they have, I've seen a player stack up on 4 all ins just to lose it all after half an hour. Don't try and find logic with these players, they have none at all they are in my opinion mostly brainless people who play any 2, adn that are the hardest players to play against because of the range they have, you can't really put them on a solid hand because these players will wake up with AA or KK and will play it the same way as they will play A3 os. I personally try to avoid playing these people in tournaments only with premium hands, flag them, type in the mistakes they play try to see a pattern. And people wonder why it only happens online, well in real life poker I don't think they would survive stunts like that Tongue

A runner runner suckout allways hurts. But there is not that much we can do about it. So get over it and move to the next hand.

just everyday stuff nothing shocking/surprising here.
bad players will make all these stupid calls and sometimes they'll get rewarded too but most of the times you will endup as winner, so dnt worry. gl in future tourneys Blink

well I had a very bad day today I usually rarely go all in preflop in tournies unless I got at least 5 times the chips of my opponent. Today lost 4 times in a row with KK. All 4 times would loose on the river card someone hitting a set not sure but it seems harder and harder to actually have the best hand.

But I find playing at MTT with 6 max per table is somewhat better as almost half of the players actually play good. About the ace yes alot of people think its the nutz whats drives me crazy is that pair their bad kicker.

hope tomorrow things get better Smile

gl to all!

Why all bad players tend to call anything with their Ax? And x is always a card lower than T, almost every time! The bad part is that they almost get lucky and makes me always think twice before folding a A7 suited in MP lol
Of course they sometimes get lucky but be all sure than on long term thats not a winning strategy, thats why they always help on growing your bankroll lol In this particular case he basically had a nuts flash draw and 9 outs, plus he already had position over you. Now i don't know the dynamic os the game and his or yours stats in order to correctly judge the hand.
If you are a tight player and i were in his place i would have a hard desision to take, and thats why i would have needed a lot more stats.
Good luck at the tables!

That blows sounds like the story of my life. Can never make an idiot fold. Look on the bright side this guy depends on luck to win clearly although it takes some luck to place in a MTT a fair amount of skill is needed drink or smoke it off take a break go back in with a clear mind and kill the next game.
