I dont know, I have been hearing all that stuff also. I do know that there are an awful lot of people who do very well at making a living off of the poker sites. So I think the top sites are safe.

I think there has been a poker bot. But if there really was one that is working now, why would the maker of it publish it and put it online. I'm sorry but thats plain dumb. They really end up in losing profits in that way, by having the poker site find out there bot. Then detecting whoyou are. But in all I doubt you will run into a bot at lower limits

Yeah if someone had a way to see others card why would he sell for 100 bycks or whatever...

Just stupid, these stuff generally comes with virus and i don't doubt that the people who start this kinda legend are the sameone trying to sell it...

I heard about the super user and seen some hand histories and it's obvious that one player could see the opponent's cards.

yeah youtube potripper to see the superuser account hand histories, its obvious that he could see the hands.

On the topic of bots i am quite sure that there are bots out there, i was looking at open source bot code which you could code around, but these bots just make decisions based on everything you already know, not because they can see everyones cards, they onstatly make plays based on the percentages, but in my opinion this couldnt be worse than being up against a very good poker player, and if this is the case take note and leave the table

If indeed there are some programs which show the opponents cards, I´m sure very few people have access to it, probably security personnel from within the RNG code development team. Anyways, they are paid so very well, that it becomes an unecessary risk trying to pull a stunt like this.

By some chance, if a hacker was able to drible the security measures and take advantage of a possible flaw, I can guarantee you that nobody would ever notice it. Think about it, if a person is smart enough to reach such achievement, surely this person would know how to earn the most amount of money in a way which would never raise any doubts or noise.

Its funny how you mentioned that thefodz. And how stupid the super user guy was and how easily he could have gotten away with it.

the thing is, if the casino inwhich you play at find out your using one of these you will be banned, and have any money from your account confiscated

wasnt there a bit of uproar on ultimatebet not long ago cause there was supposedly a guy at the high limits who could see peoples cards? I rememeber reading about it at another forum.

------------
just come across this post online and somebodys findings on ultimatebet. The .05/.10 limit tables at Ultimate Bet have been taken over by some sort of automated bots. Here's how to tell:

1. The default buy-in for these tables is $5.00 but they always buy-in for $10.00. I can't see any advantage to this but it makes them easy to spot.

2. They always play at four tables. Not two, not three, not five. Always four. Since there are about 25 of them it means that there are three or four at every table.

3. They take 3.5 seconds to act. All of them. It doesn't matter if they are calling, raising, or folding. It's 3.5 seconds. There is never a pause to think. There is never an automatic raise or fold. It's just 3.5 seconds no matter what. Even though they are playing at four tables there is never any delay.

4. They never chat. If you address them directly they don't respond.

5. They never leave a table. They just quit playing. They are placed in sit-out status and eventually they time-out and are removed from the table. This happens at all four tables more or less at once. They stay connected, however, sometimes for many hours without playing.

6. They're not really very good. While they buy in for $10 it's rare to see one with a stack over $10. Usually they play down to $8 and then quit.

Personally im not so sure he is right .
