yes i think you need to deposit before cashing out as it is in most poker sites. and if it wasnt like that i bet they have changed it after black friday min cash out also is 50 US$

Yes, in fact on every site you need to make a deposit before be able to withdraw. So the same rule applies to full tilt poker too. To be more specific you need to make a minimum deposit of 10 dollars. Since i see you are located in United Kingdom you can also use or Visa electron card to make the first deposit because you can also withdraw using it and there are no legal matters since UK allows their people to use online gambling sites. Since you are in UK you can also use Moneybookers, this option is fully available for your country, so you can both deposit and withdraw with moneybookers. The guys are also right, you need to withdraw a minimum of 50 dollars, or a minimum 100 dollars if you withdraw via local bank transfer.

Yeah, it's pretty much a universal industry standard that you must deposit before you can withdraw. This is true for withdrawal method as well. It's not a ploy, it's used to try prevent money laundering. If you could use poker sites to easily move funds from on account to another then they would all be shut down.
