Hi all,
Finished 5th in a 36 man $2500 freeroll today earning $200 (my highest grossing tournament win to date). The only disapointing thing was right after the 6th man left I went all in with QQ and lost to T7o (he caught a full house, of all things and called preflop). Disapointed that I missed out on the funnest part of the tourney: Fighting ion the money.

It says "freeroll" in the first post But congrats, nice score. I want to learn something about MTTs during my holiday, I'll have plenty of time so I'll do it for sure and I'll try to go deep, it's nice boost for bankrolls, isn't it

Big congratulations for your win, 200 dollars it's a really nice prize to win, especially since the buy in was zero, i mean in a freeroll. The largest prize i won in a tournament was a bit over 500 dollars on a guaranteed rush tournament on full tilt poker with a 2+0.20 dollars bu in, but i rebought three times and add on a single time, but it definately worht due to the prize i won in the end, and yes of course, i busted after a bad beat myself, it was pocket jacks, i actually made three of a kind on the turn but that guy made a flush on the river, i think he had QK suited. By the way, on what poker platform did you played this freeroll, i mean just 36 players registered for a freeroll is very few compared to other poker platforms where there are over 1000 players registered on every freeroll??

Well done nice place and prize too. Getting that kind amount from a freeroll is always a good thing. Was really a bad luck to lose from such a hand but dont worry, the best are yet to come gl

Nice one Arithmajic. I hope you keep winning and eventually you will be at the WSOP winning in main event - what a boost to your bankroll that would be. I'll see you there...............

i dont mean to bust everyones bubble right here, but can you tell us where abouts you managed to get in this tourney? it seems very suspect post... 36man freeroll for 3.5k? smallest freerolls i can find are still normally like 250...

Well, congratulations once again Arithmajik, that got the be one of the less popular special offers indeed, just 36 players registered for a freeroll that has a 3500 prize pool must be the dream of every player Now if i remember good you asked yourself and posted a thread if it's good to play on the cake poker network and on the cake pokerpoker platforms but it seems the answer after this freeroll is pretty positive for you especially. Still, i remember that on cash games you were on minus after the first sessions but this could be normal since players on different platforms have different styles of play at the same limit, i mean i'm a regular at NL10 on full tilt, but on party poker i lost two buy ins pretty fast in the same day, so it's a bit irrelevant. The idea is that you like the platform, keep playing on it, especially if you brake the limit on which you plan the play. Good Luck!

@Jibberish: No worries, I've been called worse. Sorry to say it's often true.
@Macubaas: It was a $2500 prize pool, but I'm sure not complaining. And I'm still down on my table play. I'm trying to decide whether I should cut and run or just switch to cash games again.

That may not be a bad idea, at least then I can spread out the variance or what not. Only problem is is, I'm sucking consistently on both.
what I really need to do is get some poker tracking software to help me where where I perform the best and then adjust all the flaws in my game. There are lots, I'm sure.
