2nd in my first MTT :)  0
I've played my first MTT on Full Tilt ($2+$0.2) and I've finished 2nd after going into heads up with stack size of about 2.5 of opponents stack, but the HU was just a bingo for him, really Smile There were only 52 entrants but I've won $22.88 (the first prize was $39.52) playing just about 1.5 hour (it was turbo tourney).

In the 3rd or 4th hand of the HU I was almost sure I've won, because we went all in pre flop, I've had A9 and he had A5, the flop came 5T5 Tongue After that hand he had like 5:1 advantange. The last hand was my 22 vs. his K3o. The river gave him a pair of kings, so it really sucked, but it was my first MTT and I'm more than happy with results Smile Also in a long run I'll win more than lose, so it's OK Big Smile

Congratulations LooseKiddie, now you are ready to win your first MTT. I sure remember mine, it was on noiq before the network change.

nice win for you well done Smile
usally when your heads up in a tourney you have to loosen up your range any picture is a good card
as well as any pocket pair, got to play agressively to gain the upper hand in this fomat,
yes it can look like bingo play shoving all in, but every chips counts heads up even when you just steel the blinds, next time you play heads up i hope you win good luck
and see you for more posts Smile

Congratulations, it always feels good to win a tournament, especially if you play for that long Smile
Indeed, the prize is not big bt there is also a lot of satisfaction after winning a tournament or sit and go, that it's worthless compared to the prize, of course it's nice to win a big prize too Blink Cool

It's good if you can play hours in front of the computer to play a tournamet, there are poker players like myself actually that really don't have the patience to play that much, thats why i prefer to play cash games instead of tournaments and sit and gos, because you can basically leave the table when you want Smile

Good luck in the futre and keep us posted with the future mtt results! Big Smile

Well, I don't mean that it was my first HU (I played lots of HU SNG, even on $5+ levels [keeping good bankroll managment]), but this kind of game can tilt as hell and I know something about it Smile But this guy played everything, I understand opening 100% from SB when you don't know your opponent (that's what you should do in HU SNG and then later adjust to your opponent's reaction), but we were on the same tables for quite long time (I think over half of my hands in this tourney) so that was way too loose & it was total crap shot Tongue

Thanks for feedback, I hope than rather sooner than later I'll have more good news for ya Smile
