hi guys, this is'nt a moan but i played a BRM freeroll today and as is most, put a 2 1/2 hour aside timeline......it went to about 5 hrs,its a freeroll so i cant complain but was a bit shocked how tight it was, the time i played and went out 6th gave me $0.75,im not sure its a good bet to go again.i dont want to sound ungrateful but is this not 2 long?i think these freerolls need to be turbos as it would make for more action and less sit outs....dont judge me im only 1 man but its just a thought.... Big Smile Big Smile thanks all and good luck at the tables.... Blink

In a sense, I agree with you. However; if you look at freerolls within a more appropriate context - they are a nice practise MTT for beginner players, it wouldn't make much sense to make them turbos.

Basically - I think once you reach the point where freerolls are no longer worth it (your time), then rather than make suggestions about how freerolls could be more worth your time, I think it's time to consider moving on to the micros.

Actually, these $25 BRM series Freerolls on FTP are dedicated mostly for those, who participate in monthly Leaderboard competition and want to earn "points = $$$" for current LB standings. In order to make it to the Top - there a lot of time and tenacity is required from players, so it seems it doesn't worth to play a single freerolls for prizes (it's only about $6 for the 1st place) - unless you want to play it just for fun or for time to kill... Yes I'm agree with daraspol , i play this freerol just for the leaderboard .

5 hours is lot, to guarantee a prize of 75cents becoming 6th. And perhaps, till the end, it still took more 30 min or another hour. Many will say its for the game or for the leaderboard and not for the money, but it means a lot of dedication for such low prize. I guess many will play other money tourneys or cash tables whyle they play freerolls, and for regular players this is the best solution to justify playing a freeroll. To me, it really seems the only possible way to dedicate that amount of time to a game (one) with so low reward. Thinking about the leaderboard, it can become good, but only if you get to the prizes in a lot of them. That means a lot of hours in freerolls too...

Well for sure it is a lot of time for low price.
Thats why I like more the way they did it in the past, less tourneys with pricepool of $50 and $100.
But nevertheless I play them for fun and for the leaderboard, but only if I have time.

all good points and when i think about it the leader board is important, and you can always go about your usual buissness on other tables Smile thanks and gl all Big Smile

Freerolls are a very hard way to build a bankroll, you need to invest a lot of time in order to get couple of dollars, at start i also started playing freerolls but i couldn't play for so many hours since i get bored every time so i made my first deposit and i played tight at beginning and i build up a good bankroll Blink

So, my advice would be to make a first deposit if you can, it can be even a minimum deposit, and you bouth get the 100% first deposit bonus and also a good rakeback offer from bankrollmob and you are done. Play tight at beginning till you build a solid bankroll Smile

Of course freerolls are fun to play especially that yu can play them on more poker platforms, plus there is the bankrollmob leaderboard Big Smile

just a few quick questions..when u make top 200 in the leaderboard, u just get a couple 500$ freerolls? and if you come first in the leader board you get 100$? how many torts do u have to play and win to come in 1st? 20? 100?
if you play just 20 tournys at 5 hours a pop youd only be makin 1$ per hour spent playing? wouldnt it be easier to skill all steps and deposit 100$?
not saying its not worth your time if u cant afford to deposit just curious how thiese things work

Havent the time lately to play these freerolls and yes they do take loads of time.
And now that the prizes are down unless you have a place in the top 200 or hitting a couple of 1st places its mostly waste of time to follow every single tourney.
Ive noticed that the number of the entrants has dropped lately

Greetings Callie28 and welcome to Bank Roll Mob. Be assured you aren't the first to mention this and I do agree with you completely. The only thing is if they increase the blind speed then that reduces the importance of skill as well. I'd say, focus your time working a free bankroll you get from here and you'll be far more profitable.
