I was drinking beer last night and browsing youtube for some sweet music, I was looking for like Tyla Gang or Duck Deluxe or something in that range. Came up upon an old Nick Lowe video. Rockpile, So it goes.

You englishspeaking people: Is the lyrics actually starting with: "I remember the night the kid cut off his right arm."???

In that case, it is probably the best line ever written...

Or have I heard wrong ?I've been listening through it like 20 times now. Is it possible to begin a song in such a way??

I remember the night I was working graveyard shift in a factory as a student, and one guy nearly got his arm pulled off when his sleeve caught on a roll he had started, and as the roll started to wind up he was getting pulled in. The only thing that saved him was his screaming which alerted coworkers nearby to come running to stop the machine. Must have been scary as hell for him.
