hi mobster heres a hand which ive just played, and b4 you start i know am out of my bankroll, but i ve been doing really good at pokerstars this week, and todays session was good too won over $135 at my normal stake, so i though il go on to a table with my profit for the day, playing $1/$2 if i lost this it still wouldnt of touched my bankroll, and not really matted to me this was just a little tester for things to come when i move to these stake, i really need about 40 x$100 to be really safe maybe more cause its no limit, but i mainly play pot limit omaha h/l anyway,
most people here would think what i did was the wrong play, and i agree bit crazy but when your playing at a table you get a feel of it and the players there, this one guy or women ?was playing loose, playing every hand and going all in playing silly, just trying be a bully steel players blinds etc so i thought il do the same to them and came over there bet, (silly me ) when they called and i seen there hand ,i thought oh well ive got a chance for the low hand when the flop came down and turn, my low was no more, them BOOM miracle card on the river, giving me trips, played a few more hands and came off the table with about $300 so i think this is my new tactics and think this is a way to move up fast through the levels, what do you think??
dont get me wrong its very risky, but i was only playing with what i won for that day which was just over 5 buying for my level which am playing at the moment and still had a healthy bankroll if this failled,
i wont be doing this all the time but i think every now and then, i might try this, only if i have a good day, now il go back to my normal stakes
good luck hope you enjoyed the read ..............

Surely shipping a 55~bb stack pre with that hand is just well..outrageous lol...regardless if you thought he was weak or folding surely at MOST 5x his raise...? You gots ultra lucky man...taking shots is all well and good but try to structure them into your plan a little. Because if you keep doing that you will mostly get < or ~ breakeven days surely

Crazy englishmen, lol, at what time are you playing poker and are on here ??? What about sleeping ??? Nevertheless, grats to you Dozn for this nice win. Because you are already aware of what you did wrong there is no need to repeat that.

Mate you seems to rock the omaha 8 or better games on pokerstars, i never had the change to rail you but if i can find you using the find player option i will definately do it
I only play pot limit omaha hi on pokerstars and so far i only had profitable sessions which is really surprising for a game with such a high variance
I also didn't knew you can play no limit omaha on real money, for example on pot limit omaha hi you can't play it as a no limit game, plus a maniac on that table would be a nightmare...

Good stuff Dozn, that is a little miracle you picked up there, very lucky and more importantly very profitable. As for your new strategy, it's technically against the rules but if it makes you happy, go for it. Just make yourself the promise now that you won't dip into the roll and won't loosen your restrictions anymore. Also take a look at Super Noobs thread on addiction, specifically number 3. Tolerance, heh heh.

You are keep pushing it too much i believe. Wont take too long before you start losing such hands. You were extremely lucky so far and thats not the rule especially in Omaha h/l You need to control yourself gl

You knew the possible consequences of your act before you commit it, so it wasnt wrong play. Every responsable parent of us would defenetly tell us not to play our real money on a game like poker. Continue with it!

"luck favors the brave" cheesy line i know but quite true nonetheless.... hmmm... unless when u lose, then its the other quite known one "that's poker"... damn philosophers
Yeah, that's poker! You didn't have much chance to win the high pot... The other guy definetly had a better hand, so yeah you got lucky, but you had the good timing and that's very important in poker!
