Just played a few hours and was making a nice bit of profit and i pick up qq one guy goes all in another calls (i think about foldding) but make the call, now the pot is about 75 quid which was about my winnings on the day.
They both show ak so great i think alll the way to river but like magic up shows the k How the hell can it happen so often when they both have ak so they get split pot and i had qq but still i lose
SO mad so mad but had to share mob sorry to be a moaner but that would of helped my bank roll big time.

Sorry to say this but it was your mistake mate, sure there are situations where are maniacs on the table that go all in with any hand but as long as another guy called him before you did it was clear that he has picked a monster hand like pocket kings or pocket aces....
I think there were 5 or so situations since i play online poker when a maniac joins the table and shoves all in with mostly any two cards, i think 2 out of 5 times i lost with pocket kings against Ax, and the funny part is that he always hit the A on the turn or river
Still you have earned another experience point on online poker, and probably against a maniac i would pay with QQ but not if another player paid him before

Ah, so this is where the other thread got it's start I was beginning to wonder. All that from a simple typo. Quick question for BeMyATMPlease: Are you able to look up player stats to? For example would you be able to see my ROI at certain sites? I estimated it but it would be kinda nice to know for sure. Thanks man.

Its hard to loose on the river. When one card from so low odds can ruin everthing, we have all the right to feel mad! btw, you were playing cash game? and the 75, was it $75? wow... (i mean, great values, comparing with what i am playing even makes me laugh about my own game)

Cool vid B1gfoot, I'd forgotten about this series. I don't think that anyone is trying to pick on tOxIcFiSh, he made a few claims and was asked for evidence and it all go a bit out of hand. I am guilty of fanning the flames a bit though, heyho.

LOL, yer I just looked to see what it was all about, funny thing is within it all I see a pot calling a kettle black, if you catch my drift, i will leave it as that but do find the irony quite funny. But I think im about tos pend some time downloading Quantum Leap, BTW did you ever see the last episode (not many people have for some reason) In-case you haven't I wont spoil it. I think some leaps Id e quite happy not to sort out the problem and play with my 34DDs for a while.
It was a good timing to make a bad call with Q-Q... But as other players said, you "only" had 63% chance to win, so there's nothing to be really frustrated about, that's poker You can't always triple up just because you have the best hand...

i dont even think its really that bad of a call if its on a 6 handed table and you know your customers. If you know one of them has As or Ks or you think they might ok easy fold but if they are both possible for shoving there stack with A high cards well im calling as these situations happen often with worse hands than Qs way worse at that. Its a chance to go and triple up with the 3rd best hand in poker and as bigfoot says its one buy in with a fecking great little hand
you also cant complain if you lose yes you got a little unlucky but thats it move on
You can't always triple up just because you have the best hand...
