Been killing live games since fulltilt got shut down turned my 500 Bankroll to 1500. Not major i know but trying to save enough for next years ME figure by then i'll work the few kinks out my live game, and i only have the helpful people in the forum for all there great advice. Thinking i'm done with the online game however but you never know maybe one day I'll drop a decent depo and take a swing at bankroll managment. Don't think i'm gonna bother trying to build up a bankroll from freerolls again to annoying. Anyways I'm out best of luck at the tables and thanks again.

That's great news, and don't sell yourself short, tripling your bank in such a short amount of time is pretty impressive I'd say, point me in the direction of the advice you read and I'll read it all! Mind if I ask where you're playing live? I noticed you were in Canada too, figured if you found a live game that was easy to crack, I'd check it out.

Way to go timborep! I am looking to increase my live game play too as I think this whole online poker thing is about to become very regulated and governmentalized with bigger rakes and so on. I have fairly easy access to playing on the Mohawk reserve in Kahnawake where there are a few good poker places. Good luck on your journey to the ME, keep us updated. Maybe I join you too eventually!

Been thinking about that as well. Online is getting more agressive day by day. Seems like everyone is going for "standard" play as far as ALL pairs go (all-in), or combinations from A-8 up (all-in). People seem to think this is standard and EV+ play in any tournament. Up to $20 buy-ins, as far as I´ve seen lately.
Lost 2 tourneys yesterday with AK to 8-2 pre-flop and QQ to 9-6 post flop hitting 3rd 9 on the river. And these were +$10 buy-ins, one a Deepstack! Seems like people are going all-in with these cards in Deepstack tourneys as well lately. Just to avoid post-flop play, which they obviously don´t understand very well. Very sad for us Real Poker players.
Like you say mahdrof, I don´t trust the way this is all going "regulation wise", and am temted to seek out some live play here in Tenerife. Don´t know where to start, internet to look things up, I guess?

Nice to know you took a decision on what you are going to do from now on. In certains times of live, one has to do decisions like this one you just did. Either go or not go, do or don't do, you decided and thats up to you so, no one has nothing to do with that. Its done. Good luck at real tables, looks like you are already having it, so continue! And keep telling us about your results!

Really amazing work man! Remember that the variance can be really cruel in live games cause you cannot play that many hands in live poker. GL to you sir

Grats to you, very well done, keep up your good work. But it sounds like you will also leave us here at BRM !? Don´t do this, keep us informed about your success and discuss Poker with us.

This kind of stories are more and more popular on the internet, i mean it was obvious people will go and play live games again and not quit poker after online poker was shut down
I mean it was pretty clear no one that really love the poker game, no matter what type of game will try to play live, at friends that organize this kinf of events or at casions, so there is no big surprise here
On the other had i hope you didn't lost too much after full tilt poker was shut down but i realize you had couple of hundreds of dollars in your full tilt account, like i personally did actually I moved to pokerstars but i only keep 10 buy ins on the poker account, what i exceed, i withdraw...
