Posted by Ronsaki: A lot of patience, BRM, and a bit of poker knowledge. Add some luck and a semi serious dedication to poker, and you are ready to go!
Especially that first one (patience)..and discipline. But ronsaki summed it up nicely. It can be done but it´s tough. Looks like you got a lot of good advice here and are starting with the right mindset.

Greetings Sm00th and welcome to Bank Roll Mob.
It's doable for sure, but I gotta ask, "why bother"? Why not take an offer from Titan or Prty and use the $50 they give, it's a faster way. Failing that deposit. I'm all for building up over time and improving your game but you'll loose interest if you're always playing for pennies.

This is for sure a very nice forum and those who were already able to achieve a value enough to perform a withdraw should participate on it relating, at least, their history. I think one should define objectives in his game. With so low starting value (€5) perhaps playing $1 Sng's or Double ups is risking a lot (20% of the bankroll in the first game and, if things go wrong, the 2nd game will cost 25% of the bank). But in games with lower buy-ins, there are no rules in what matters to poker itself. People play anyway (e.g. A7 all-in), so the risk upgrades in other ways that not for the amount that we are investing, but for the chance of catching a loose aggressive fish which takes all our stack. I will now read others comments about this theme (still havent had time for it) and then i will continue my explanation with what i consider it can be a way to define a strategy to upgrade bankroll from almost zero to $100.

The best way is to play Cashgame NL2 Multitable because the Rake is max. 5%. DoN´s are verry easy to play, but the Rake int he most Pokerrooms is 10-20%, so it is verry hard to beat.
Yeah I agree with Dacap71, cash games are better if you're good at it. The rake in Sit and gos is horribly high and most of the players are (lucky) fishes! So basicly, cash games, heads up or MTT is the way to go for big long term profit.

One week, 2 years ago, i had many luck on partypoker. I won 50cent with freerolls than i played in the partycaino with this 50cent on the slotmachine "magic" for 3cent a round. My luck dit dn`t stop and i made with this 50cent a bankroll about $25. Than i change to partypoker again and lost all with cashgames cause i was a litle fish on that time.

2 years ago it was much easier to build a bankroll from scratch at no time. Too many freerolls with good prizes, in the majority of the sites. Today not only the number of players has increased but they have limited the freerolls too. A way to go up is to have some patience and not tilt often with the donks

fack all of what their sayin man, go sign up at hero poker, this is my little secret which is low key they got 18 people SnG's Pot Limit Omaha 5$ prize pool and like half the players sit out, first place wins 2.50$ second gets 1.50$ and third is a dollar... do that until you grind like 20$ cash out then stick that on like pokerstars and grind the cash tables, only bad part about this is it takes like a week to cash out to moneybookers but oh well it gives you time to grind another 20$ or so
