Yes the point is to make money and points faster, ofcourse the more tables you play the less focus you got on them but it's still profitable at NL50 for me. When I play a level that is high for me I play fewer tables sometimes only 1. Normally I don't have any trouble controlling 4 NL50 but I got 4-2 off at the most aggres. table and was getting extreme action at the 2 other tables Lucky for me the pot was checked down and high card won so I don't think I missed out on a big pot
But yes you are right it sounds funny that paying less att. can win more money
EDIT: it also softens the downswing because you are relying of more decks so 1 bad run won't totally ruin the days bottom line. I meen you can get sucked out on 1 table and winning big on the other 3 I think relying on more decks soften the blow
