Hi! I tried to install the Partypoker software on another computer and... I made a mistake, I downloaded it from partypoker.net instead of partypoker.com and i realized of my mistake when I tried to login on my account and I couldn't.... So I'm asking what it's the difference? are they use a different server or something? Thx!

really? i had listen about this but i thought you could play real money and playmoney at both i thought i have tried it but i think now that i just try the ..com twice

you can play with real & play on the .com sites, there are no restrictions of real money accounts playing with play chips.
But the .net accounts are different accounts, they don't actually have a functional cashiers section and are restricted to play money. On the .net software you wont even be able to see the real money tables.

im sure i seen .net players playing in the freerolls at pokerstars?what would they do if they won some money?i think the .net players have a white star at the top of their avatar....gl on the felts all... not sure about party though i think it would be the same???

It's an easy fix really and it's a common thing on all poker platforms out there really, to be more specific, the net version of their site is for play money games only, and the com vrsion of their site is for real and play money...
From what i know this is a way to avoid making publicity for a gambling site on tv, almost all countries banned tv pub for gambling, so they advertise the play money version of their sites
Yeah I also think all .net sites are for play money only! Just like Macubaas said, it's a way for the poker sites to make it legal to advertise on television and stuff like that.

No, I think that is not this the difference, becuse you can play real or playmoney on the same login, on .com... I believe tht is a dedicated server to some specific country...

Hi,the same thing happened to me,I buy new comp and sane thing with Pokerstars happened but I was uninstal few minutes after and save from .com and then everythink was ok,I can register and funds are on account.I think in .net when i save Pokerstars there is no cashier

.net is just network and . com is for commercial use...i know pokerstars ect allow players to qualify for tournys on the .net sites but other then that no money involved. just like everyone says it just legally allows them to promote there sites on commercials and s**t.
