Are freerolls winner take all or are they paid out for places, theres was only 10 in the gutshot freeroll yesterday and I do not know how the payout structure works. Thank you for any help.

Depends on entrants and site. Different sites use different payout structures. Normally the default is that at least top 3 get paid regardless of entrants,but yeah,that totally depends on the site. In gutshot's case I'm not sure,but I believe ipoker uses the top 3 paid one regardless of entrants.

I believe the number of paid places goes up according with the number of players at the freeroll. When the prize of the freeroll is tickets, it doesnt change, but being money it does. Like, for instance, in a $50 freeroll there had to be a minimum of 25 players and started with 5 paid places, but reached 1.500 players and had 120 paid places.

did the freeroll go ahead with only 10 players?if it did im sure there will be alot more players at the next one... as Fakiry said theres normally a min entery or they cancel!!!!

10 players in a $200 freeroll is amazing value, all those of you that can play in these should do so

Min entry was five players, so i don't know why so little. I figured it was winner take all because I was 3rd and got nothing, unless its delayed. I thought it would be like a 10man sng which paid top 3 so that was my confusion.

Any freeroll can have an individual payout structure and you better always check them before. If only the winner of an 5.000 people freeroll gets a seat into a tournament it is not worth playing. At least for me...
as Fakiry said theres normally a min entery or they cancel!!!!
