well if he doesnt wanna commit to an apparently not feasible business plan, cant really blame him. but still a good platform for lesser known poker players and players should be concerned about the money not from whose pocket its coming.

Interesting article. I had heard about the Epic Poker League but didn't have the time to look into what it is all about, so I learned something here. His comments are certainly true about the state of poker in the US, and like him I don't believe poker will ever be able to shake some of its bad image enough to become mainstream. Poker is burgeoning in other parts of the world and that is fine, what better than a host of over-aggressive under-experienced players on the scene?
He didnt play cuuz i quote "He is careful what he attaches his name to,and think they will never make a seasone 2 like world team poker"...he thinks they will fail cuzz they will have no resource to support the league ant the whole thing will go to hell
wow il come back tomorra to read daniel blog on why he didnt play in it, ffs a simple i couldnt be arsed, to playing in or i had a headache would of be easyer

Well the pro's get their chips of weaker players. And here aren't that many because there aren't any sattelites / the buy-in is incredible high. So basicly they only god businessmen attending that aren't that good. Why decrease your odds of winning as pro? Pretty stupid to play there unless you want to improve your game
