This has always been a curiosity of mine, regarding people´s BRM nickname choices. I constantly see all kinds of nicknames here, from intriguing to simple, from serious to funny, from irrelevant to meaningful, therefore my interest, I highly enjoy learning about the root of choices, what drives people to choose something instead of something else.
So, if you don´t mind, please explain to us why you chose your nickname and if indeed it is poker related or not!

Whats your nick name mean fodz?
My BRM nickname is GeneYuss because I`m a genius lol Its not because my name is Gene, actually my name is David. BTW, I stole the name from Mario Golf, theres a guy named GeneYuss that plays golf.

My nick in reality is a mixture between 2 words, the and fodz, of course! "The", in english, is written in it´s correct form, and fodz, which is not written in it´s correct form, "foda", because it is a portuguese bad word meaning F**k!
But you see, here in Brasil we have an expression which turns that word into a different context, for example, in english it would mean something like the expression, That guy is "the s**t", (o cara é foda) turning a bad word into something positive.
So there you have it, that is what my nickname here means. Nothing deep nor personal, just a strong nickname for those who understand it.
Edit: By the way, I received this nickname from someone in the past, so I thought I´d use it somewhere as a good joke.

haha well theres not a whole lot behind my nickname... really.. haha if you had to guess what nationality i was i wonder what you would guess? and there you have the italia.. the xxx is well ... we will save that for another time and place hahah , and the 13 is my soccer jersey number.. orginally used to be 12, but replaced it with 13 a couple seasons ago

My nick "mastergryne" is actually meant to be spelled like this Master Grune and the U being a German U with two dots over. It has absolutely no meaning. I was pretty pretty stoned about 10 years ago and me and some friends were smoking like we had nothing else to do and we used to videotape it because we always did some hilarious stuff and then we could laugh like crazy the next day. I came up with this absurd name while I was high and "schizophrenic" because I was the famous German movie director.....Master Grune....
Edited because I forgot to mention that "Gryn" is actually Danish slang for money.

my nickname has no real history i just like the way americans and japanese pronounce the german word "Kaiser" and because i like poker i used the prefix ace ! thats all .......... sooooooooo boring

basically the "real" meaniing that i use is "warrior" and "brave man"... I use BR to indicate Brazil and to make my nick unique between all others KozaK's LOL

lol kozak that explanation hurt my brain and it really makes my nickname here look pointless. I have no idea what you must have been smoking at the time but man it must have been some kind of amsterdam greenage or something lol Oopps the smoking comment was towards mastergryne sorry lol

I got sick of making up nicknames so i tried once to put Predobar as nick and it went through, I think it was on that Rummy site (dont play there win-loss=0), probably because its to stupid. But those kind of names are some kind of trademark when i choose email names, so i have handful of emails like [email protected],[email protected] etc. It means 2good nothing big and nothing important.
EDIT: dont bother with emails they are here as examples.

hey fodz well my nick name dannyjon is because my name is daniel jones but on other sites like pacific i couldnt fit it all in so shortend it, and so i keep the same name in all sites so i can remember
