Greetings Shred47 and welcome to Bank Roll Mob.
Sounds like you hit a bad beat, hope you were playing true to your bank roll management strategy. If not look it up here. It'll save you from going bankrupt.
Sorry to hear you got unlucky keep going though, hard knocks are an inevitable part of the game.
Worst bad beat for a while was in live Pot limit Omaha:
I got QQJ7 double suited, I raise pot on the button 3 handed. Small blind folds, big blind smooth calls with KK810 with 3 hearts. Flop comes Q-7-3. He bets like 1/3 of the pot, very small and donkish bet... Of course I got the nuts so I raise pot. He re-raises x2, I go all in and he calls... Turn comes a J, and river a 9.
Still have no idea what he was trying to do... Trapping himself maybe? Gotta laugh about it, not much I could do on that hand. Anyways I was monster chip leader so I still had a good stack left, but in the end he won with 3-4 more suck outs (one of them was a 2 outer again when I had top 2 pair on the flop and top 2 again on the turn, he hit the only full house I couldn't hit on the river)
