As for the VIP shop,not every room has a VIP shop,especially considering gutshot is one of the smaller skins of the network it's just not needed (not playing there anyways)

Exactly. Though its not only by clearing the bonus but also turning the points into cash. However I'm not doing this strategy, as I got a 21BB profit over 100 hands in 0.02-0.04

But its pretty mindblowing tbh.
Based on the math, would one be able to utilize this strategy to clear the bonus before the initial $5 is gone? Or perhaps just play short stack strategy with AA, KK and AK only?
If mathematically profitable, this could be a viable strategy. I may just have to take the $5 NDB and try it out.

Sorry but 100 hands is no sample at all with absolutely no meaning in any way. One shouldn't really care about a their winrate until they hit at least 10K hands,it should be much more though.
As for BRM using that bonus - either just masstable the $0.10+$0.02 SNGs maybe with some $0.20+$0.04 mixed in could work best. For the cash players,just play $0.02/$0.04 FL Cashgame. You should get a decent amount of points there since every hand sees a flop,so unlike in NL cashgame like 3/4 of the hands are raked,while 125BB is..not gonna say decent sized,but a BR to work with (in FL Cashgame only obv).

You guys got me wrong... BB/100 = 21 BB's won This isn't over just 100 hands lol thats my average. And it varies from day to day from -20 to +60 etc. So 20 BB's should be stable, concidering it should even go higher soon. As I analyse my pots lost and how I could have lost less / nothing. Made some fucked up noobish mistakes which costed me 75-100bb's.
Anyways retribution, you won't be able to apply the strategy I potentially found with just $5.00. You'll have to grind to at least $8 - $10. Cause the actual profit comes from the VIP scheme and converting Gpoints. The bonus is only to keep your bankroll nearly stable. So the VIP shizzle are your bankroll boosts.
And no its literally folding every single hand. But I assume you can play the absolute premium hands just for the sake of more profit

What do you mean by converting Gpoints? I have like 1.4K points, so i can convert this into real money, dont think so?

So you can get $5 for 1k points. And if you get 1k points within a month you also get $5 bonus + upgrade to VIP2

getting profit from folding most of the hand based on the bonuses/ vip scheme will depend a lot on your opponents i think and others will exploit you after some time. so not worth it i guess. and its working fine for me currently.

Thanks Setera, but Dila explained it to me last night in the tournament. I'm not gonna convert my g-points anyway, found a good tourney to dump them in. And i'm VIP2 anyway, so i get an extra bonus right?
Well, you'll acquire extra Gpoints. You can use them in the VIP shop if they have one and or play tournments. If they are like the other Ipoker sites I've played at the boost does not count towards clearing a bonus...unless Gutshot is different....and I doubt that.

Euhm ye i think so. Normally the next month you become VIP2, then you get $5 and acces to an extra monthly freeroll. You can check whether you received it in: My account => transaction history

Thanks mate, but it will be for next month I guess. Still doing some tournaments on gutshotpoker and in 13th place with only 27 players left in a rebuy tournament (120$ first prize), so let's boost up our bankroll part 2 lol.

All the bonuses u get from the site doesent give u more than the site allready took from you in rake. So evry 100 hands u have to pay 15bb or 1.5bb per orbit. Anyway maybe u should read this: ** link removed by admin - violation of our forum rules to link to sites with poker bonuses etc **

I guess you are absolutely right with this. With contributed rake you cannot just sit down and fold every hand. You won´t get VIP points for this...

Most of the sites now have the contributed system which is much harder than the dealt to clear a bonus. Now sites starting to change into weighted contributed which sucks if you play in low limits. Few years ago you could make serious money from deposits and reloads in sites with dealt system like iPoker used to be. Now only the Cake network uses that system.
If anyone else knows a site that uses dealt outside Cake Network let me know Thank you
