close win for australia, and now they have tough semi final against new zealand on 16th Oct wales vs france on 15th Oct i think its gonna be wales vs new zealand in final, but u never know

Yeah unfortunately there wasn't as much interest as I'd hoped for free mob points and I had to assign teams after the first game had finished but I hope it was fair for everyone. Still, it worked out well as it allowed me to put double the points on my home team, which is fine by me. It does mean that only three mobsters are still in this: magatt, supernoob and rbdfyboy but two of those could win 1000 mob points. If Wales win, I will give those points to the runner up so someone will win. Unfortunately Argentina couldn't hold up the all blacks so I'm out.

First semi-final kicks off in six hours. Wales v France. Who will win? Can magatt stay in this competition? I can't wait to find out. I would love Wales to get to the final even if it means I have to pay out $10 instead of $5. Nobody thought they could do it. But I think they will.

congrats to magatt966 for reaching the final with france and what can i say about wales...so unlucky,the sending off was very harsh imo and would have to have affected the welsh team and may have cost them the game

agree with you, watched the match and have to say wales deserved to win...thay have also been unlucky with two kicks finished out of few centimeters

I'm absolutely gutted. Should never have been a red card. But Wales were superb and that's something we'll take away from this cup. Though we'll never know what could have been.
Looking forward to the second semi-final tomorrow. Supernoob, rdbflyboy or magatt. One of you will win 500 mob points from my personal stash but who will it be. I think rbdflyboy myself. New Zealand were favourites from the off.
watched the wales/france match. Cheering wales on...was hoping they cud pull it off. I agree the red card was extreme. I'll b watching New Zealand/ Australia at 4:00 am local time. GL to all remaining.
who the hell let an irish ref with french father ref that match.
whoever gets to the final havnt got anything to worry about against france they are terrible and without refs support they will get hammered by 30 + points .
as for wales - they done us proud - by far the best team throughout the tournament.

100?....why accept 100 when I have a shot at 500?...at least this morning was a rugby match and a good one to boot. I hope France plays the same way next week...they'll get rolled over...lol
To be fair Magatt966 I learned that Fr and NZ have history and Fr could upset NZ...this one will be tough...I'll keep the blacks. The match starts at 3:30 am local time...got a seat in the front row.

I am so drunk right now I can't see myself getting up to watch the final. Truth be told I'm not so bothered. France have not played well so far and so this tourney should only go one way. Not such an exciting final. And i'm supporting New Zealand so I don't really want to look. But I might watch it if I'm awake for itv+1. I'm so gutted Wales didn't make the final and I think most would have preferred it for a much better final.
------------ Well it's all over and the winner is the bookies favourite from day 1. Congrats to rbdflyboy who gets the 500 mob points prize. Was quite surprised by how close France came. Just one point in it and pretty much even stats I should think. What is it about world cup finals and their tendency to be boring low score matches?
